    I agree that damage cap is spoiling the builds. My suggestion is to get Damage cap V+ and hope it gets a nice secondary stat.

      You're blessed if you find your characters special sigil + damage cap and damage cap + crit chance (that's luckily what i have)

      People would just stack all the damage sigils regardless, build variety is an illusion

    Supplementary damage is +20% regardless, it's good on everyone lol. Whether you do 10 hits of 20k or a big hit of 200k, the bonus is the same if you max it. The only downside are the abysmal rates on curios

    That's why they have +sigils for...they allow you to get all those things like auto revive and guts and potion horder or cascade and skill cooldown on your dmgs sigils so you don't have to actually waste a slot on them giving you more space to add other things to experiment with on your builds like improved dodge and stout heart while still keeping your dmg cap for more dmg

      It's still not a good mechanic. Forcing you to use mandatory sigils is not freedom of build experimentation. Should be up the player, not the game.

    Very nicely done, your videos are always well articulated and you speak at an easy to understand pace. I do just some feedback about your first few examples.
    The damage cap isn't just there to limit you arbitrarily, it's there to maintain a semblance of balance between characters. Sure, raise the damage cap to match the +250% and remove the sigils, that's all well and good, but those 4 slots would just go to the next meta thing on the list, not create tons of diversity like people who don't like it are wont to claim, also removing the cap completely would just flip balance on its head.
    War Elemental CAN be swapped out on fights where you already have advantage for something else, so it's really only a semi-permanent piece of your build. That fact seems to be conveniently forgotten by most people. Lol
    Saying Supplementary Dmg isn't as effective for slower hitters is very misleading and borders on misinformation spreading. If you're only using 1 or 2 sigils, yes, just like

    I do agree. The damage cap thing shouldn’t be in the game. It limits builds and they should remove it.

      I hope they do! There are so many sigils that we could have so much fun building so much variety, just to be forced to stack 5 spaces in that mandatory one.

      @@rpjames8 it is a big limitation and you shouldn’t be limited to do things. This whole game is focused on building your character

      While I agree that a case can be made for making the cap what it would already be with 65 levels of cap increase, the actual hard cap is very well implemented and shouldn't be removed. Otherwise, you'd just still just have the same builds, max attack, max damage %, crit, etc. It would also make certain characters far too powerful, namely the two big Draph boys. They'd just stack everything they could with jammed and enmity and potentially one shot any boss. No, the actual implementation of the cap is fine the way it is, as it maintains a really good balance between characters. If they just raised the base by 250% and nixed the sigils, that's fine, but those 4 slots would just get taken up by the next best thing, it wouldn't magically create all this build diversity.

      @@shaunperron7080 Well, the argument of not having a bunch of attack builds. Is to instead have a bunch of damage cap builds? Doesnt sound very reasonable to me.

      @@rpjames8 I agree that it's not a perfect system, but the answer would not be to completely remove the damage cap system they have, the solution would be to raise the cap to match what sigils would make it and then those slots would be open. It wouldn't create diverse builds, though, just slightly different meta builds.

    I don't understand how so many RUclipsrs have Damage Cap with Aegis. Does anyone know a farm for that or is it Transmarvel?

      Don't think they will, it's been there since the previous games. So it's an inherent game mechanic that's likely not going to change.

    Damage cap caps at 250%. If you have a terminus weapon you only need to get damage cap to 150 and the trait from the weapon takes care of the rest
