A huge beginner tip I'm not seeing anyone mention is do NOT unlock characters early if you do not intend on using them right away for 2 reasons. 1. Characters unlocked after the final chapter come at a higher level and with over half their masteries already learned. 2. and most importantly, when you go to farm Terminus weapons(end game best in slot weapon for every character) it will only drop weapons for characters you currently own. So your chances of dropping the correct weapon for your main is wayy more likely if you only have the starter characters and your main. The more characters you own, the less likely you are to get your main's Terminus weapon

DONT DO THIS unlock 1 or 2 characters you are interested in (you can test them out by saving , using the card testing them on the dummy mode and exiting the game without saving ) the reason is because MASTERY is super important and annoying to grind so the higher level you are when you use your crewmate cards the more mastery theyll have already
This is a great tip especially the saving and loading method if you want to try characters out. Imo grinding mastery is easy and can max out characters in an hour however, the biggest caveat of hiring more people, is the acquisition of a terminus weapon for your main. I think that's the hardest part if you hire so many characters at the start. Its not so bad, but if you want to get fastest way to get the weapons for your main, sticking to a small characters is way to go, this is one of the greatest tip that this guide lacks.
Amazing game. It's like a combination between Monster Hunter, Bayonetta, FFXIV, FFXVI, and Tales of Arise. It's so polished and looks absolutely stunning on high-end PC and PS5. The campaign is so fast-paced with many different action set-pieces, varied gameplay, many things to collect, and spectacular boss fights. The number of likeable characters and how varied they are gameplay-wise is mindblowing. The artwork and the character design is probably the best I've seen in an anime game, it's just gorgeous. It's hilarious how good this game is. Even the fate episodes which are just wall of (voiced) text with a still image in the background felt somehow engaging (probably because the stories they tell is actually entertaining and VA work is brilliant). What a fucking game 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
I love that the game even runs very well on a 7840u handheld doing 30fps and inputs are very responsive even with everything happening at once. I love that in this game you can experience mmolike bosses that usually found in the end game with low investment. you can login, join lobby and jump into a boss fight.
@@JRPGSamurai Absolutely clutch when you have a great random group and manage to clear a boss quest with few seconds to spare before the boss use their instant kill at the very end. I hope devs make future content down the road. I would love to see more 2 boss quests, boss rush mode till respawn/game over timer expire(revived/potions don't reset), and weekly challenges (i.e team gets split up between dimensions and have to clear totems/crystals before continuing). Maybe even a 8 player raid quest that would be breathtaking

I never knew the weapon masteries aside from the main one you use matters. I always just farmed for my main one and called it a day. Now Ik they all have use so i can go farm them.
So many people complain about the hours it takes to finish the main story i understand i still love it but they could of made it longer before you beat it
Thanks for pointing that out, I was referring to the endgame team perhaps. But yeah, can't be replaced. I started a new account and I remember that she can't be replaced but hey, its just chapter 10. At this point the ideal team would be, non nego gan, your main, Eugen, Cagli. Gran can be replaced with Percival later on. These characters were suggested since they have the most optimized AI in the game.
Should i use some mastery to unlock skills on gran and stuff to help. Or should i just focus on my main or wait for the rest of that party you recommend? I believe it was Percival and Lancelot?

I have to do a little powering up. I fought the ice wolf primal spirit and lost twice. It was mostly to my party dying and consuming critical guage, even though i ran to them to revive. I believe im getting the hang of Narm, and i died once and used a bit of the critical. My party was mostly getting slammed cause ai dumb lol. To counter this; i boosted Narms weapon to lvl 47 from 15 and did the fate missions i could. Its a stat boost to characters without spending, untill i get my main party. Im going to try again a few times. If i still cant ill do side quest, single clear to level. I was going to move the difficulty to hard cause it felt easy, but i believe its a difficulty raise without benefit besides pride. Its has definitely got hardwr
It is possible to beat the game without side grinding, but yeah AI can be a hassle at this point lol especially Danchou. LOL I experienced this in the past as well.@@phatlokki
Subbed! I’m stuck mid way through the proud missions. I built my team not knowing much with Lancelot, Rackam, Eugen, and Rosetta. I want to transition and farm up a solid base team to the 4 knights, Lancelot, Siegfried, Percival, and Vane. Is that a good team to push deeper into proud mode? I forget the fight I’m stuck at but it feels like a big skill gap as well as dying so easy and not doing much damage. But the prior proud mode fight I S++’ed it. So I’ve hit a serious difficulty spike 😅
Hi and welcome to the game! Glad you are enjoying it. I think having a Cagliostro will help you in getting into the endgame. However with the right equipment and when you maxed out your party, any team or character setup will do. There are better AIs yes but, mostly composition here has little to no effect at super late game. You can change sieg into Cag if you want to. Eugen is one of the better AIs however so I would go for something like, your main, Zeta, Eugen then Cag. But these are for AI optimization. If you would love 4 knights theme, go for it!
Narmaya is meta though. Lol, it's just a suggestion. You can hear me saying in the latter part that she is my main. Waifu over meta is def I agree with.
3:05 i highly reccommend this except for perhaps 1 character because if you complete the last chapter and i do mean LAST chapter you can recruit allies at lvl 60 instead of 10 or 40 or whatever and it will save you tons of msp in the long run

Yeah it does contribute a lot so getting all weapons and maxing them to 150 is a must! Have fun!

IMO, levels and MSP are easy to grind later on. Note that you can max a character, possibly in an hour.
10 - 11 hours ? Downloaded, came here before starting. Screw that, refunding!
That's for the main story only. You can easily have at least 200 to 300 hours if you are into grinding. Mon Hun genre.
It’s a great game don’t mind the grinding as is with most JRPG games require grinding. Narmaya is best girl.
