I like it and it does have some bass..... I wanted to put a subwoofer in like the Roaring Toyz bike but this may be better as I would need to have a dedicated sub amp and lose space. I have a Punch 300x 2 bridged with (4) 5" speakers but that is an upgrade for sure
Nice update. To avoid your wife from scuffing the speakers let her get on whilenbikes on kickstand, and your not on the bike. So she can mount the bike , the scoot back onto the rear seat. Bike looks great. Ride safe.

U can get a hold of engineering adapters. His name is Randy. Tell him I sent you. He know make wire kits that plug in to the stock wires under the seat. I ran a thicker gauge directly from the deck
Randy Brewster as I explain hear has made 3D speaker pods for this bike. Simple as cutting out the bag (which believe me was tough to do :) and install the pods, then the speakers. I used silicone between the pods and bags for additional protection
Sorry, I understand everything that comes from engineered adapters and the concept. I was more interested in specific tools you used and your approach to getting the holes cut in the saddle bags. That part is what makes me nervous if I were to try it.
Anthony, once you get the pod in place mark the inside of the pod. I used a drill bit for the hole then jig it out with a dremmel tool. took about a minute per bag :)
We have the SingleDIN faceplate adapters as YBF pointed out, plus we have a wiring harness so you can do this without cutting any factory wiring and install the PAC SWI-RC to retain your handlebar controls!! www.EngineeredAdapters.com/shop if you'd like more info!
Wait till you get that "Marine" grade head unit wet a few times.. I bought the same one and it got wet and failed. Getting wet voids the warranty. Don't believe me call kenwood warranty department and tell them u got the Marine grade unit wet 😂😂😂. Fuc*ing rediclious.

I added 2 tweeters inside the frame connected to the stereo lines, ran my other 4 w soundstream amp.
