    Got my adapter kits for the headlight and passing lights last week. Will be installing them over the holidays. Great video. Thanks for uploading

    my only comment on the walk through other than thank you very much for these, is you only show installing one speed nut and then assembling the housing without mentioning that you are going to do all three of the tabs on each light. just pointing this out for any ambiguity to other installers.

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  Год назад +1

      Thank you for that comment. We noted that as well so our newer videos try to do a better job to remove any ambiguity on installation. We plan to remake this video to also show how to remove and re-install the lights from the fairing as many have pointed out that is a critical, but missing, part! Thank you for supporting small business!

    OMG! I need these bad! You should have told us the fairing need to come off too! You guys are awesome!!!

      Thanks Craig! If you have the Vaquero you need to remove the fairing to install the Kawasaki Aux Light kit (p/n 99994-1097). But Voyagers (and Vaqs that have the light kit) can install LED lights using these rings without removing the fairing! Remove the speakers and sound cones behind them. If needed, you can also remove the glove boxes.

      @@EngineeredAdapters OK guys, I'm trying to purchase both the headlight bracket and the Aux light kit. But I'm having issues because I'm trying to pay with a credit card and it want me to use Paypal. I was looking for a number to call but there's nothing. Please take my money!!! 240-691-7591

      Anyone wondering about this, you CAN use your Credit or Debit card. It's a little deceiving because you first have the click the PayPal button before you are given that option. You can use Paypal or credit or debit card, it just processed through Paypal on our end. Thanks

    Did the mod tonight with the adapters, had to do a little bit of shaving where the tabs go but otherwise a piece of cake. I had the led in already using the old method of using the OEM housing after removal of the front lens, this mod saves about three hours of work and lets you keep your OEM lights if you sell the bike or want to revert back, though I think you will keep the LED. Removed the lights by going in through the speaker housing, simple and it works.

    Do you have to take the whole fairing off or can we do the job through the speaker holes?

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  3 месяца назад

      Great question. We plan to do a new video that will show that part of the process. You can remove the speakers and/or the gloveboxes to access the 3 screws holding the lights to the bracket. Unplug the socket and they can be pulled out the front of the fairing.

    The light housing there is there away to get just those for cheap I just bought the hogworks light set and I'm new to this so any information would be greatly appreciated. And what all from you would I need to make this work

    • @EngineeredAdapters

      I presume that you have a Vaquero? The Voyager guys already have these installed. Kawasaki makes a kit so you can add these lights to the Vaquero. Installing that kit into the Vaquero is a requirement to install our kit.

  • @GovG33k

    I just purchased a set. I measured the thickness of my kit and it's .350", (-.030" less than yours in the video). Will that be a problem?

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  Год назад +1

      Since this video we made some design changes that help these to fit a wider range of lights, including those with a thinner lip. That "should" fit. Please report back if you are successful so that others will know as well.

    How are they adjusted?

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  7 месяцев назад +1

      The LED fog lights are a flood, made to fill in the area just ahead and to the sides of the motorcycle where the headlight doesn't reach well. As such, they usually do not require adjustment. However, there is a wingnut on the bracket holding the auxiliary light bucket that can be used to adjust the aim if required.

    • @andrewf2225
      @andrewf2225 7 месяцев назад

      Is that wingnut accessible through the back, or does the entire fairing need to be removed? I bought the bike with these already installed, and one is off, so I'm trying to game plan what I need to do.
      Appreciate your input!!!

    How do you take the original factory side lights in order to install these new one? I need a video on how to get the factory side lights off the bike (Voyager 2022) Thanks

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  Год назад

      We intend to update this video. To access the Aux lights, remove the speakers and the speaker pocket. This will give you access to the three screws (per side). A phillips screwdriver is all you need.

    Would these fit a 2007 Suzuki boulevard c90?

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  Год назад

      YES! We didn't know they were compatible when we created the video. Some savvy viewers noted, like you probably did, how the brackets match the Suzuki's. They purchased the bracket and discovered it is an exact fit.

    Great video just bought the adapters. Will you guys be making an adapter for the headlight?

  • @juanmancha2167

    Anyone know if there's a headlight adapter for the 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan vn2000 with the big nacelle! Want to replace cause it's worthless a match puts out more light.

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  Год назад

      Isn't the big nacelle light an out-of-round headlight? Meaning that a standard 7" or even 5.75" headlight won't fit? If someone decides to make a light to fit and it requires an adapter we'd certainly investigate if we could design and manufacture it!

    Do you have to take off the fairing to replace fog / driving lights ??

    • @EngineeredAdapters
      @EngineeredAdapters  2 года назад

      If your bike already has the Aux/Fog lights then, no, you do not need to remove the fairing. If the speakers are removed and the baffles then the mounts can be accessed.
