      @@FunkeLemodear funke please I'd like to ask a question I and hubby are planning on coming to Canada, he is applying for his masters but my fear of getting something doing when we get there has been the issue of me not buying the idea. What would you suggest ma, I only have my OND certificate handy and will be done with my Bsc in August this year , also have a 8years of banking experience in customer service, have good computer skills and also have some certifications in care courses gotten from cousera and caredemy.

Secondly please is there a way I can private chat you to help me out with modifying my resume to Canadian standard so I don’t get to stay for a long time before getting a job. I will really appreciate your feedback.

    Thank you ladies, great video very encouraging. Ive been in Canada since September 2023 as a student doing my master's in Toronto. I have not yet secured a job. I think some of what you said may be the reason. My resume is still a big issue i haven't mastered how to adapt the resume to the Canadian style and i keep putting on it my qualifications and experience from back home which as you said may cause the employer to wonder if you're this qualified why are you applying for this job. Is there anyway I can reach out to you privately to share my resume and get some tips on how to change it?

    • @laraonipede745
      @laraonipede745 5 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on your profession. A customer service resume key words will differ from that of a health care professional. Use google or chat gpt to find what yours should be. If you are a data scientist for example, ask google this: what are the key words a data scientist resume should contain.

    Is it that people are naive or they are just too lazy to do their homework? You land another man's country and you think you'll get a job the next day..........I don't get it😅
    In your own country, people stay for years and can't even get minimum wage jobs and then you expect to get a job as you land.
    Do you due diligence before you leave your home country
