Can’t wait!! Gotta say, I cried from the very first minute to the last of the credits during the season 3 finale. The sense of true fear, uncertainty, pride, love resonated thru the entire episode. And can I just say - SOOOO happy to see Mrs. Hall and Gerald finally get together!!! One heck of a season finale!!! On the edge of my seat waiting for season 4!!!

Hard to believe Season 3 is over. Season 4 isn't coming fast enough. These actors are superb.
I wish there were more episodes in each season, 7 doesn't seem to do justice.

It’s the best series I have watched on tv. Funny, entertaining, moving and that photography can’t be matched!
This series is by far the best show in tv. The characters, the writing and the setting is truly a gift to the viewers. It will be a long wait for Season 4 but worth it.
Been intrigued since seeing the Xmas special here in the UK. I hope we finally exploring Siegfried and Audrey cos his reaction to her and Gerald said something.
And the way he was putting his hand out there before she ran to find Gerald...but I think of Siegfried and Audrey as Best of Friends not lovers
Such a great series so full of love and kindness and wonderful acting. The actors make you want to be a part of it.
Although it's so hard to pick..this might be my very favorite episode! I'm so happy for the underdogs, Mrs. Hall and our Dear Tris. Hoooorayyyyy!
Just watched it last night and my mom and I enjoyed it very much!
To say I love this show is an understatement! I haven't loved watching a tv show this much since Little House on the Prairie, and that was back in the 80s. The cast is simply brilliant - perfection at its finest! I can't wait to see what season 4 develops with Mr. S. Farland and Mrs. Hall! I have always found them to be a great match; she's the ying to his yang. I hope this show remains on the air for many, many more years to come. HUGE fan!!!!

Best show that BBC, PBS have out together in a very long time. I hope the series gets a 10-15 year run. The more material you develop, the more popular the show will become. It is one of the greatest things to ever come from 🇬🇧 Britain. CHEERS!

I think so too! I have always thought that January was always a month that drags on forever, like a month & a half put together.
The last 2 years January & February have just flown by & I believe it's because of my enjoyment of the show, and time flies when your having fun! It's now the rest of the year that drags on, waiting for January!!!
Tristan’s speech at dinner was incredibly moving and powerful. I very much fear that, assuming he returns from the war in one piece, he’ll nevertheless be a changed man: not the happy-go-lucky Tris we’ve come to love. He may become as maladapted to postwar life as did Mrs Hall’s estranged husband. I hope this doesn’t happen.
I hope they stay faithful to the books ( I read all of them years ago and have since reread)

Love this series.. I like the role of Mrs. Hall.. The way she keeps home and her hospitality. Can't wait for the next season.
Season 3 was so emotional. Just watching these characters we've grown to love face what we know will be a terrifying and horrific time in history left me with a pit in my stomach. But as always, the stories are heartwarming and funny, too. Very much looking forward to season 4.
Even though I have Masterpiece & PBS Passport, I haven’t watched the whole of Season 3 because I’m not ready for it to be over 😭 I probably shouldn’t have watched this- but it won’t prevent me from enjoying every last second of Season 3, even if it’s a teary eyed and uncertain ending 🥹😌
I own Doctor Thorne, North And South, ALL Creatures Great And Small, Cranford, Larkrise, Pride and Predjudice, Emma, Victoria, please make more family shows!!! We can watch these with our grandchildren with no worries what they are seeing!

Oh my goodness, I just watched the last episode of season 3 again for the third time, please please bring Tris back!!! I love this whole cast of characters, but Tris has to come back!!! I love his character and what he brings to this show! I own all three seasons and have watched the first 2 seasons over and over again! I will be buying season 4 the minute it is out in dvd!!!! Please make more family shows like this!!!!!!
It's a great series. I remember the PBS versions from the 1970's and 1990's. Siegfried unt Tristan!
Looking forward to sharing the lives of these characters as they develop through Season 4. The actors seem to appreciate one another, the material, and the complexities of their characters, who may be curmudgeonly or nurturing or by-the-book or fun-loving or sweetly simple, yet each one contains prisms of color. The writers and actors are offering us opportunities to open ourselves to compassion toward the characters, ourselves, and our fellow creatures who may need such loving-kindness.

They start filming in the Spring, it will be shown in the UK later in the year, US will see it in either January or February. 2024. I just read that.

On the original ACG&S, Siegfried and then James departed for service in the Royal Air Force with Tristan being the last vet in the town.
When James says goodbye to Helen and Mrs. Hall, it was an especially powerful and moving scene, guaranteed to start the waterworks.
