What a wonderful show. My very favorite. So beautiful, loving and classy. No violence, just kindness and love. I cry after every show missing the world I grew up in. Thank you for this precious look into what life was like.
The "most replayed" section is making me smile. 🥰 This show truly has some magic in Siegfried and Audrey, and the lovely details that Sam and Anna create. It's delightful to get a peek behind-the-scenes on this scene in particular! Thank you! 😊
Such a beautiful series. I have read all the books and watched the original show, but I think this version is better. It truly is a salve in these strange times.

I loved the original show and now I love this new series even more. I traveled from the USA to Thirsk many years ago just too see the original locations. Now, I hope to get to Grassington as well.

The only thing I don't like about the series is that each season is so short. Enjoyable series tho.
IKR!! Seven episodes per season is barely enough to get the plot going. Why are they doing so few?
@@heatherinparis This isn’t America with seasons lasting for 20 episodes or more. Our series here very rarely last beyond 5 or 6.

watching season 3 now...each season gets better...i think i like this more then the original...the character development is more real...but Tricki always steals the show😊...and of course the jaw dropping beautiful landscape...whooosh

I feel sorry for the cast. Everyone else is wearing shorts and t-shirts so I'm assuming it's HOT and there's the cast in heavy, wool suits. GREAT Show BTW!
The two ladies walking hand in hand is in every episode
Right around 4:30 the tears welled up...sure the piano lament helped, but Jim and Tris standing in line, and ya know they are speaking words of endearment, and I'm going to cry this season because evil is pernicious and war such a waste. PS The BBC panel was terrific. Thanks.

Three series have been aired in the UK. Series 4 will be filmed in the Spring!

Has anyone noticed this series uses the same storylines as the original series.
It's because both of them are based on the original books and thus use the same storylines

seems to me there are too many people behind the scenes..
Grassington is a busy little town and a tourism hotspot so (trust me, I know the place well) it takes a lot of work to disguise it to look like the 1930's, so as well as the actors and many specialists of the filming crew the set design people have to be on hand all the time because after a day's shooting they have to take everything down to let the town get on with its everyday business, and it can't be done by a mere handful of people.
You should call them up. Offer your expertise. I’m sure they’d love to know where they’re going wrong.
