I wsa a teenager and in my early twenties when I watched him. I even got the second movie, because it had so many plots. That one should of won some awards for it.

movies back then where pretty simple: let catch the bad guys. Thats all we really wanted some good old simple good vs evil. And the hero doesnt asks more then a simple thank you ! No statues for Superman, he is so humble and appreciative when people equally react with a smile and thumbs up ! Just dont piss him off he can turn earth back in time.
