It was kinda all action with basically no substance though. There’s no breathing room for emotion or character development. Just mindless explosive insanity, like a Michael Bay film.
@@AnonD38 I believe they were in Canon. In Legends there was supposedly a genetic defect that made them more independent than the average clone. Seeing this, the Kaminoans were going to kill the ARC's until one of the Mandalorian officers that trained them stepped in and ordered they be made into a special unit. The Null-ARC unit. (Can you tell the Clones were my favorite part of Star Wars? XD)
Reminds me of that meme: Gamorah: "Did you do it?" Clone phase I: "We took a command post." Gamorah: "What did it cost?" Clone phase I: "We lost a command post."
I remember the first time seeing Cody on screen when this aired on Cartoon Network. He was the coolest thing even though he was on screen for the shortest time and I remember being awestruck
You would think with Obi Wan being a Jedi he would have a natural tolerance to adverse weather conditions, yet the slightest drop of rain seems to annoy him.
I wanted him there but more like in the place of Reva. The plot that they revealed where Cody was Obi-wans buddy on tattooine required five existential chess boards to justify after RoTS.
Fun fact: his look in here is significantly different than the one in rots and its not just the animation style and the light. His whole helmet has p1 ears and it doesn't have any antennas or his "mouth" doesn't have the "christmas tree" or the big chin attachment.
Amazon: “The delivery goes well sir, with this rate we should have your package to you in 3 months” Me: “but I’ve waited a month already” Amazon: “yes sir we’re right on schedule”
This look isn’t bad but the movie simplifying it to just the visor, single shoulder antennae is the right call. Also changed the helmet light to this wide one to a simple side mounted one and added a design on the chin area.
I love how even as well trained and powerful Obi is a clone is always still more resolved. Obi = but we've been here for a month already 😔 Coby = Were right on schedule 🙂
Its hilarious how there was no reason to report that to Obi wan at the beggining more than just crush his expectations of leaving sooner the siege, what a troll xd
Tbh, that first clip touched on something the recent Clone Wars didn't. The war was LONG AS HELL. Would have liked at least some downtime inbetween fights, or real sieges(didn't get to watch season 7 don't bully me)
I never realized how fucking enormous the windows were on the Venators when I watched like when I was 8 when I first heard about it, I was 3 when it was airing in 2003
What we got. Cody: we are in schedule. What I want- Cody: we are on schedule. Obi-wan: time to fix this schedule, dips into enemy positions from underneath them
That's a noticeable lack of actiony awesomeness. Of course, one might want to include his appearances in Clone Wars Multimedia Project materials, particularly comics like Routine Valor.

Much of the dialog in the 2003 series is pure gold!
It’s so satisfying to hear also because as a commander serving under a general, he knows exactly what Kenobi wanted
🤦🏻♂️😂
i feel like he smirked under the helmet when he said that
he acts like there’s no problem at all
Man, the 2003 clone wars was so good
Fax
All the clone Wars tv shows were so good.
hell yeah it was especially the captain fordo and grievous stuff
it was ok, but it focused heavily on the jedi and only had two episodes which gave significant attention to the clones.
It was kinda all action with basically no substance though. There’s no breathing room for emotion or character development. Just mindless explosive insanity, like a Michael Bay film.
“Yes sir, we’re right on schedule”
*immediately zooms away*
Cody was a trooper who exemplified being an infantry officer. He looked, talked and worked the part
Captain Fordo was get shit done type of soldier then.
@@littleaqua32 Well duh. Cody is of the Clone Commander template, while Fordo is from the Arc Trooper template.
@@AnonD38 Captain Ordo’ otherwise fordo is an ALPHA ARC. He is not from the standard ARC template

Commander, how are you?
I'm your 69th like.

you’ve always been my favorite commander 🫡
Gotta love Cody's optimism

Cody is such a badass.
Hi
Bro left before Obi-Wan could complain more 💀
Bro got better drip than the clone wars series drip.
You would think with Obi Wan being a Jedi he would have a natural tolerance to adverse weather conditions, yet the slightest drop of rain seems to annoy him.
"So uncivilized"
No seriously why did they take him out of Kenobi??? Cooooooooodddddyyyyyy 😭

I mean he didn't take out kenobi
@@josephcasper8803 🤦♀ Sigh the show... Commander Cody was going to be in the kenobi show. A lot of things was going to be in the show actually...
As if Disney Star Wars doesn't have enough fan service
@@norbertsreignofterror9418 lol everyone liked my homie Cody more than that failed inquisitor with too much plot armor because of "minorities"

Commander Cody is relentless

Looks hot.
This is what I imagine the Outer rim sieges to be like: the enemy bunkering up and their shields set to maximum.
Y por eso el imperio se dedico a construir superarmas y soldados de élite para saltar esas dificultades 😅😅
I miss Cody having his blaster holster
He looks way better than he does in the canon clone wars show
Eh it's just the art style. The new show design is accurate to the movie.
It’s weird how this is where General Grevious, Commander Cody, and the Phase 2 Armor first appeared here, before Revenge of the Sith even released.
"commandou coude"

2003 clone wars is so Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
I remember this show I used to watch this when I was a little kid
Cody has never gotten enough screen time
Obi wan proving he has a Mandalorian addiction by giving his clones jetpacks
Funny how all the clones turned British after this movie lol
This look isn’t bad but the movie simplifying it to just the visor, single shoulder antennae is the right call. Also changed the helmet light to this wide one to a simple side mounted one and added a design on the chin area.
I love him!
Jedi's win battles, Commander Cody wins wars.
We’ve been here a month already😞 we are right on schedule then 😎

Cody dogwalks most bountyhunters
I love how even as well trained and powerful Obi is a clone is always still more resolved.
Obi = but we've been here for a month already 😔

That opening exchange was like something out of 40k
Most lore accurate clones
I sometimes forget Cody is wearing a jetpack

The only clone wars animation that exists
The first clip gave me heavy Stellaris vibes
The fact this is a short makes it better
Cody pulls the Nerd emoji then fucks off lol

The good old memoris

The original animated series and the prequel movies may have introduced Commander cody. But clone wars is what fleshed out his character

So weird hearing Cody without a New Zealand accent...

Cody has a broomhandle mauser
This is a reference to commando Cody
