Bossk's ship was Hound's Tooth. I always thought they were ill fitting bandages around Dengar's head, not a turban. No mention of him being injured badly by Han Solo and that he was an Impirial agent, hence the Imperial armour. Boba Fett was THE most feard bounty hunter ever... until Disney got their hands on him.
As a kid I was fascinated by the Bounty Hunters and had all the figures. When the expanded stories started to get published when I was much older it was fascinating to find out about their back stories.
I remember that from Steve Perry's Shadows of the empire novelization, dengar reminsced about his injuries while waiting on a swoop to ambush (if I remember right, it's been almost 30 years) Dash Rendar.

It is armed with 1x Quad-Laser Turret, 1x Ion Cannon, and 1x Concussion Missile Launcher. The _Nashtah Pup_ was a secondary scout ship that he carried aboard the _Hound's Tooth._
Who didn’t think Bossk was the coolest in ESB, when he showed that he didn’t take any lip from anyone, including an imperial officer. Just way too cool and I only wish there was a bounty hunter series that showcased these original BHs in live action (separate from the Mandalorian).

I loved collecting all six of the episode 5 bounty hunters in Funko Pop form. My favourite scenes in Star Wars have always been the ones featuring a mix of humanoids, robots and creatures that really flesh out the universe. The cantina scene in New Hope gives me the same feelings.
Between the "Tales of the bounty hunters" anthology book and the Pilot Ooryl from the X-wing and Wraith squadron books, I became enamored of the Gand species and currently run a Gand Findsman Roleplaying character. Their humble, self-effacing style and inability to refer to themselves in the first person until they earned it struck me as a cross between a Samurai, Monk, and Knight Errant.
Such nostalgia for Zuckuss. Had all the Kenner figures back in the 80s, and I remember having to send away for Zuckuss specifically (here in Australia).
The best prize for proof of purchase tokens was the accessory packet which included the Yoda backpack, Hoth rebel backpacks and a cool selection of weapons. He had to be well known by the rest of them to get that close to Jabba and had to be respected enough to not be questioned about how he caught Chewy so i have always included him in with the original bounty hunters.

I had the Bossk action figure as my 4 year old mind immediately took a liking to this intimidating looking character that walked around barefoot with claws. Wish I still had that figure along with broken 3PO in carry bag, the medical droid, Darth Vader, Han Solo, R2D2, Snow Speeder, and IG88.
Love playing these characters in the Outer Rim board game and expansion. Funny how the bounty hunters seem to be so much more effective than the empire; especially Cad Bane and Boba Fett.

Boba Fett's adornment of braided hair wasn't simply captured prey. Those were braided hair sections made from Wookie scalps, which is another reason Han Solo and Chewbacca avoided him. Boba Fett was a psychopath known for killing wookies. (Disney totally screwed Fett's character up and cinematically 'castrated' him). IG-88's droid species were called Phlutdroids and were originally supposed to be the droid armies that wiped out the Republic and the Jedi and the Mandalorians before the prequels. That's exactly why Darth Vader brings IG-88 in for the Empire Strikes Back movie. Boba Fett was originally a Mandalorian warrior who turns against his own people and serves the Empire. Boba Fett's shooting at Luke in the corridors of the Cloud City was actually a continuation of his meeting and near battle with Luke Skywalker in an animated sequence in the Star Wars holiday special where Luke and Boba almost battle but Boba warns "we'll meet again, friend" as he flees. That's exactly also why he flies out to battle Luke during the Sarlaac pit scene. Boba Fett wanted to continue the fight they originally started in the animation sequence but couldn't finish. Dengar is referred to earlier in Empire Strikes Back by Han and is the bounty hunter on Ord Mantell that Han was fleeing from. All of these and more can be found in Starlog magazines that have interviews with George Lucas and other people in the 1970's and 1980's who were working on the production of the movies.
Zuckuss and 4 Lom used to be different. As in they swapped the names in the 1990s power of the force action figure series. The names were never accidentally mixed up
4-LOM : "Lawm"? I've always heard it and pronounced it as 4-"El-Oh-Em". At least the confusion of the names between him and Zuckuss has finally been straightened out. Leave it to Kenner to get the names mixed up and confuse kids for years. Though might argue it should be logical that a name like "4-LOM" would belong to a droid.

That wasn't the Jango Fett armor, as Mandalorians had to get their own armor in what is known as "Trials". You saw a example of it in "Mandalorian". Boba Fett received his armor from his own trials, which lead to his famous markings and color scheme.

Original toys of their characters were the most available and easy to find back in the day since they were not that popular. Wonder how much they would go for today.$$$

Ever notice that Dengar is wearing Stormtrooper armor painted brown with chest armor from the atat commander.
That wasn't the Jango Fett armor, as Mandalorians had to get their own armor in what is known as "Trials". You saw a example of it in "Mandalorian". Boba Fett received his armor from his own trials, which lead to his famous markings and color scheme.
