In this one, we look at all of the creatures, and the shadow traps.

He slapped himself in the face.
The first time I saw Melum, I thought he was a polar bear. It turns out he’s a wolf... a WOLF!??!

I love how even the Netflix Bionicle show picked Ketar to have drama in the show. Like, it's bad enough he's an okay, (to others terrible) set, now he and Pohatu don't get along! (More specifically, Pohatu hates him because he's a scorpion/scorpion-like) Poor Ketar just can't catch a break.
and here I thought Uxar would get the waspinator treatment...

Edit: I wish someone made combiners of the Creatures and the Protectors. Use both of the mini-helper characters to put them on the same level as the toa.

When building the scorpion one, all I could think was "okay, lego, what's with the scorpion fetish???"
it does look cute in a kind of "lovable dumbass" way.
I love how this year all the small sets have unique builds. With the Protectors, I knew what to expect after two sets. This time, each creature is a new building experience.
Your reviews are my favorite. I also love that Metroid music in the background!

Great video, Nick! I personally believe that in the Kopaka-Melum unity, Melum's claws are meant to guard Kopaka's shoulders. That would give him extra protection, which he had a lot of last wave.
Love your stuff man, keep up the good work! I can't wait for your thoughts on the Toa!

Once again another fantastic review! I, too, find these little guys to be so adorable but have so much personality. Lego's been nothing but spot on with creating these sets to have character.
A great analysis of these guys. I can't wait to see your video on the 2016 Toa and Umarak. In a void of so much negativity for these 2016 sets, it's lovely to see your optimism when others try to bash on them. I just don't see what's NOT to love with these sets!
Tell me, what are your thoughts on Journey to One? I personally enjoyed it.

15:57(right one) - Umarak is brutal, killed 2 minifigure heroes for that, I think it is revenge for boraks' faces as motorcycles.
Gotta love these little cuties Melum is definitely the cutest... But that might just be because I LOVE polar bears so much I just imagine him waddling around like Cubs on their hind legs do so cute
*+Xplodenator* Have you seen how he walks in Journey to One? While Terak walks like a regular biped, Melum hops on his big paws and feet, almost like a gorilla. I know it doesn't sound cute from how I describe it, but trust me... it's adorable.

So that's Umarak's true creature is!
so, the villagers (guess this is how we refer to the little guys in general?) in G1 all had at least a different mask in every ediition, except for one(?)... and 2010(?)only one figure with the original famous mask?) then in their G2 evolutuion, the protectors. were each pretty much the exact same in '15 while in '16 these creatures were their replacements? Pretty sure tha's it, except in what exactly occured late in G1

Ice skull spider?!
I simply can't understand why people find the Shadow Traps boring. I mean, they have more pieces than the Skull Spiders for crying out loud! (Not saying that I hate them, I don't) Plus, if you don't like the way they look, well, you can just simply use them for MOCing. But what I also can't understand is why they didn't make an official Ice Shadow Trap too. I can understand if it would have increased the price rate, making it more expensive, but still, we shouldn't have to make one for them. Just saying.
+Diesel 20212 As Yoda from Star Wars might say about the majority of the fanbase complaining about how small the minions are and how "easy" it should be to destroy them as if the Toa aren't afraid of anything, "Judge things by their size, do you?"

i liked ketar, not very much tho, my favorite is ikir and akida. ikir have this phoenix/falcon mimic, and akida looks like a shark. melum and terak though, i dont know what they are supposted to be, some ay they are suposted to be gorillas or a yeti, but ikir looking like a phoenix fits the fire theme, and akida being a fish fits the water theme, ketar being a scorpion-like creature even fits his element becaus scorpions mostly live in deserts, nice review btw. i also loved your 2015 toa review
Melum is a yeti, Terak is a mole. They do look related, like they descended from a common ancestor.
sure, but their similarities are distracting, they look like clones which is sad, one of them could be 4-legged, melum could have been a deer, like play stipling did

I like Terak, Akida and Uxar, i bought Terak on eBay.

I loved Bionicles so much as a kid. I had series 2 and 3. skipped series 4. went back with series 5 with a little bit of series 6. I even had the first two movies (which....didn't hold up in retrospect)

Eurico Silva I did not understand what you're talking about. I never once mentioned "generation" as this is Bionicles, not Transformers. The first two series involve Tahu, Gali, Lewa and all the toa. Series 3 and 4 involve Vakama, Nokama, and basically the prequel saga of when the first two series' Turaga were Toa. Series 5 and 6 involve Jagger, Hewki and the other four Matoran when they became Toa. So I therefore didn't understand the context of your first reply. G2 is Bionicles in my definition.

It's a little over it's target goal. So we did it.

1 so the chance's of indivisible being released is no longer slim ? cool. 2 really unrelated but i think the reason biolizard was so huge is because uncontrollable growth was one of it's flaws and maybe the yellow water we see in cannons core is to help keep it from growing. 3 vary unrelated but what's your opinion on superbunnyhop's sonic analysis video.
