I don't care about the features, I care about the UI and the functionality with how much integration there is with my OS. I am very happy with Office 2010 on Windows 7, Office 2013 on 8.1. On Windows 10 it's a tough choice however, it doesn't seem to be as easy to install multiple versions of Office. Thanks for the video. It's clear that Office 2021 is designed to be Sun Valley era and 2019 appears to be from just right before that, I hope 2019 follows the 2017-2018 UI guidelines. Office 2016 is more like Visual Studio 2017 when it comes to UI design, altho the navigation buttons are a similar design, they are slightly different, where the Visual Studio 2017 icons are actually visually more blurry and thus worse. I'll try 2016 and 2019 and compare the features and integration and weigh out the graphical interface differences to see which one works best on Windows 10 1809 to form a great relation between the last Fluent 1.0 and WinUI 2.0 design era.
As for performance, whoever has a weaker configuration will greatly feel the difference between the 2016 and 2021 versions. So, the winner in that field would still be the older version. In my case the AMD Ryzen 5 2500U barely worked with the 2021 version.
Thanks for view and comment! Share which office did you choose?
Still using office 2010
