So, at the end of the day, it comes down to either paying in perpetuity and never owning anything (the continued conditioning of the American culture just like leasing cars forever vs. owning)....or purchasing the item once and using it until you absolutely need to upgrade. I have bene using my Microsoft professional since 2016 and so I am 8 years in for the one price. Also if you don't need all those other apps like exchange, SharePoint, etc., then thats a waste of money as well for the 365 version. The one plus I see for the 365 version is that you can access it on multiple computers vs the one license for one computer when you purchase the stand alone version. But I have never found that to be an issue because when I am done working...I don't need to open the software up on another computer anyway. As for my emails I can log online or use my Gmail app with all my email addresses readily accessible. But to each his/her own. Good video explanation and thank you.
