Hey I'm trying to get to this waterfall a couple days from now and I was wondering where you parked to access the trail? Ive been looking for hours on info on the Narnia falls and I literally cannot find anything besides youtube videos. Id greatly appreciate your help.
Hey Barr, as a Hilo local, I enjoy watching your videos. Just a note, this is our dry season, which is why water levels in Boiling Pots are low. We have our own waterfall on our 14 acre farm / nature preserve in north Hilo, and it is at a very low level now. Upside is, you can travel around with not much rain. Downside is that the water levels are pretty low all around right now. Come back in the winter time and really see some raging fallsm
Th best way to be bat tourist buses is early mornings as in sunrise and going with the flow is always good less stress. When you cannot find the place you are are looking for and when you find it at least you know where it isn't . Great video
To everyone going to these falls be careful because these waterfalls are very dangerous. My good friend and classmate passed away the summer after we graduated. At one of these falls I've heard a lot of my friends saying they've been pushed by something and found hand prints on them. And no one pushed them. There's been a lot of drowning me in Hawaii because of the lack of knowledge and awareness please be safe when exploring these places. As beautiful as these places seem they are just as dangerous.
Yup, same story. I've lost a few classmates at Boiling Pots. Urban legend states that the souls that are left there wait for oblivious swimmers and hold them under when they jump in.
The falls you were looking for, Pe'epe'e Falls, was at Boiling Pots. It was upstream from where the couple were walking on the rocks. It is supposed to be a no trespassing area though, FYI. I like this spot better than Narnia as Pe'epe'e is pretty much identical to the falls above where you were swimming at Narnia but a lot easier and faster to get there.
Here Be Barr what did the wild pig & you do? I was wondering how the ferel livestock behave when they see people. Heard if you bark loud like a dog the pigs will run away
Beautiful skies -- I thought Hilo rains almost everyday . Looks like it's been amazing weather for you. How does the temperature feel to you? ( sticky , sweating , hard to breath humid hot or mostly comfortable .. in your opinion ?
There’s a guy that drives over there with the squad every single time at least every day sometimes he just chills around the area what’s the time she will give you a ride his name is Dudley he’s like a yellow quad and stuff like that I’ve seen him

All I, would do, is call, my cousin---. He's the man, you think, you is. Audio tubes-- suck!
I live in Hilo and I still need to visit these places. Awesome footage!
A tip on Rainbow Falls, the first stop....if you go there at dawn, the sun shines at the perfect angle to see the rainbow created by the mist!

Yeah, i'll definitley take the dry season with smaller waterfalls over the wetter season. The weather has been gorgeous.
Never go to falls when it’s raining hard up mountains.

Yup, same story. I've lost a few classmates at Boiling Pots. Urban legend states that the souls that are left there wait for oblivious swimmers and hold them under when they jump in.

That path you went on is called narnia its a few hour hike to beuativful waterfalls
Looks like you can drive right up to narnia falls on the wailuku river if you park at waianuenue ave...that guy hiked a while for no reason.
Bruh you know it’s commercial when the biggest concern is beating the other tourists so you can take better pictures..
And there are no snakes in Hawaii. She should be more concerned about running into wild pigs.
Yep ! We actually have seen a few already. Thanks for commenting/watching.
Watch out for da mongoose too.
Yep !

Man, those damn mosquitoes must have been bugging you during the into. You kept swatting them away.
I would freak out thinking there's a snake or a crocodile.
I'm more afraid of sharks in Hawaii .
1:98 Btw I wish I would go there but I can't
theres no snakes in hawaii its prohibited and illegal.
Thanks guy, now the waterfalls are super crowded ALL the time
Not super crowded all the time most of the time 0 people are there
Shasa shhh you’re a transplant if you live there.
Do not look at the night marcers calous off face ddown
I love this place!!! The taller falls has a really good pool. But obviously Narnia is NOT the Hawaiian name. LOL
Was one of my fave days of that summer :)
The taller falls has a nice little cave that's pretty interesting. Curious to see what your drone saw above these falls.
It was called Ka'umana Falls when I was a kid.
What he, can't see? GPS is, blind also. It uses, no HAW!
sec-- bodybag in, HAW! Hilo isn't USA-- damn fools.
It shows that this comment was edited, but I can't imagine it being more illegible than it currently is...
Lol, what are you saying here?
U faka keep um secret
It’s a misdemeanor now to go in there.. private property.. yea F Hawaii.. too commercial
those arent secret lol plus nice job shilling so it will no longer be secret because it used to be lol
