- This is a virtual tour with natural sounds of Hilo Hawaii. Hilo is the second biggest city in Hawaii and the largest on the big island. Hilo is a city that seems more like a town and feels very much like it did many decades ago. Loacted in the rainforest of east Hawaii island, there are tropical rain forests and botanical gardens with beautiful waterfalls in the area around Hilo.

We live on hilo side in Honoka'a Town. I prefer this side of the island over Kona side. Although, both sides are beautiful. 🤙🏾

Ex in-laws lived who were wonderful and a horrible sister in law who is a nurse there. Always wanted to visit, ex wouldn’t let me. One day soon I hope. The waterfalls are so pretty angling with the forage.

@@ryanlowry5409 I miss warm ponds. The lava didnt really deter me in any way but it did take my favriote beaches away. The town is still healing but the community is still strong
