This is a better intro than many who simply explore what's in their face. Usually just what the desktop environment presents.
You show important stuff about the underlying OS! Good job!
Nice video, looking forward to the next one.
Nice one!
Very good overview. I might even try freeBSD again native in my laptop.
Thank you. It's definitely worth trying out.
I've been running FreeBSD 13.2 w/KDE Plasma 5 on one of my desktop computers for a couple of months now and love it. Learning some of the graphics apps after using CorelDraw for so many years is a bit of a learning curve but I'll eventually get comfortable with those apps.
Great system for devs
Nice, I run my T430 with 8 gb of ram that I love.
where did you find this desktop-installer?
Hi there it can be installed using the standard PKG command. From a terminal run pkg search desktop-installer to check it's available and then pkg install desktop-installer to install. More info can be found here www.freshports.org/sysutils/desktop-installer/
what the hell man, I have bspwm Linux setup and it uses 500MB at idle..
Bonkers right? Pretty good speed on Freebsd.
