Rudeness has been going on for a long time, and I agree, it is getting worse. I used to work in retail, but had enough of the rude behaviors of others.
One of the biggest things I did to De-stress was exit social media. My life is tons calmer. I have seen an incredible amount of intolerance from all over this nation and the world. We're in the thick of it and it's gonna get a whole lot thicker. Come on people now, smile on your brother ,Every body get together and love one another right now! 🐸
The problem starts with the way you are raised. For years it has gotten worse because parents don't discipline their children, they do whatever and say whatever they want. I don't like to go shopping because of the obnoxious children in the store and parents do nothing about it.
People believe it's cool to be an a-hole to other's. They think it makes them tuff. Respect for another person isn't given because no one wants to seem weak. Happiness is hated so some can't allow themselves or other's to be happy. I work with older adults who think of themselves as bullies. They can't beat up anyone in a fight but they believe in their fantasies. If you hate everything or everyone then you maybe the problem not other's. People need to seek mental help to work out anger issues. Nothing will change until our country offers free mental health evaluations.
@@Marcydalmatian the Narcissists who are older and have the mentality of a child ... yes ... Karens are immature people they have a childlike mentality .
There's also the case of kids who are just flat out mean, they can have nice parents but be total jerks at school though they hide it at home. One study showed many people by the time they're six often stay that way for life. There's exceptions if they change for some reason.
@@reneegardner2286 That's not what I meant at all. Many people who are jerks are usually that way because it was never corrected when they were kids. Also, certain mental health conditions and other traits are hereditary, so if a kid has a parent with those things they're likely to inherit that but could take years before it becomes obvious. Two common examples of that are anxiety and stress.

It’s definitely is getting worse. I think it has a lot to do with the people that work in these industries. They are so rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, lazy. The newer generations and immigrants are the worst offenders.
I don't believe it to be due to the pandemic. I blame it on all the California residents that moved here, and others around the country. This city is not even remotely close to how it used to be 10 years ago.

I was a teacher, they are no better to us. If not worse. They can't pay me enough to go back to the classroom, and I left for health reasons in 2006.

Its the young generation. They dont know what it is like to Struggle. Their struggle is their Social Media.

It's going to get worse with the new governor coming in next year . Racism also plays a big part of the problem as well.
Perhaps we can listen to our mothers and be kind, humble, and hold people to higher moral standards?
Whose mom said that? My mom is an argument waiting to happen.
people mirror the behavior of their parents once their adults. so rude people who have children become rude adults
