Dennis chambers, a name you might not recognize, a monster in the drumming world, he's a literal living legen has been quoted as saying El Estaprio is changing the game. Dennis actually was commenting on this performance. So I don't know what tha makes you when the actual goat,has called you the goat. Guess he's the Meta Goat.

He is up there!!! Absolutely love watchin him play and hearing it. So many extras that all have a place and fit like a glove. I'm new to the drum world and have a 1993 7 PC. Pearl with 4 Zildjian cymbals and a high hat. More than I need, but I'll be ready.

I would say he is the greatest I have seen. Would love to see him replicate buddy rich and his legendary 1970 solo 🙂
he would be considered the G.O.A.T. eventually only because his style is unmatched in what he can do, and his speed. this particular drummer has put down licks ive never imagined to ever see before. and he does it with finesse. but yes his speed is absolutely insane, God mode.

I have the Mapex Armours and they are super nice, great tone and beautiful finish. I looked the Varus kits up definitely excellent craftsmanship but they do carry a hefty price tag.

Tough one man GOAT possibly he’s on another level beyond the moon and millions of light years ahead of us I think only a few people are born every 100 years with this type of brain function and complexity and interpretation of the drum set and I’m a die hard PEARL GUY and also check out Aaron Spears version of this song and Eric Moore also played this to every drummer in the world will play this song incredibly different from one another

Mine is Pearl.
He has reached a level of instinct. You can see there's no effort in what he's doing because his bodies doing it on it's own. The amount of practice must be nuts.
As he said himself, from young age 2-3 hours a day, and from 15 on he practiced hours a day as if it's a job.

his playing just keeps getting more precise and also less rigid. I think I even heard a bit of swing in that. Not too shabby for a mostly metal drummer

This guy is certainly incredible, and has honed his craft for a long time. If he's played on the number of studio albums and played as many genre's as Vinnie Colaiuta in about 40 years time, then let's discuss whether he's the Goat or not. Now...no way. Still don't think he's as well rounded as the likes of Chris Coleman etc. But for the fact that he's essentially built up his reputation and skills from his house - it's incredible to see.
Well you say for a long time. He's been playing for 12 years. I've been playing for 17 lol. But on and off. Always a musician at heart but I totally am jealous at the equipment he has and more importantly the time he has to practice. I physically can't. Single dad with no kit set up so I can only pay to go to a studio for an hour I really am spiteful of my band for not understanding the portability of not being a drummer.

Nope, nope the goat (don t think there s goat s in drumming). He is technically superb, overplaying a lot and entertaining and that s the whole point of his channel but to say he is one of the best out there ... too much.
