I love this guy's content! However, why some people say that you should hit every muscle group twice a week and that requires at least 5 day split? And according to this guy thats alot of volume. I need your opinions on this one
Max does a HIT (High intestity training) training style what this does is it focuses on Training less and giving the body more time to recover so by hitting each muslce one time a week you give it time to fully recover before hitting the muscle again you also give the CNS (central nervous system) time to recover too. Knowing this you can train harder each session and progressive overload on your lifts. Progressive overload is the sign to the body to stimulate growth. Then on the rest days and when you're sleeping your body will recover that muscle or muscles you hit in the past couple of days.
