There isn't any inherent limitation with electric motors that can't be overcome to achieve a higher top speed. The only reason why we haven't seen EVs with super high top speed is mostly artificial, not technical limitations that cannot be overcome.

A 2.0 4cyl making 40lbs of boost isn’t going to make over 2000hp like a viper would with 40lbs. This gtr definitely has way more pounds of boost than the equivalent 3300whp viper.
