I bought an A6 last year which I did not end up using past the first week of the year. Started using it this year for handwriting challenges and am really enjoying it! Also wanted to start daily journaling so I bought the 5yr and am loving it so much, and actually sticking to it so far! Some days I feel like it's not enough room and agree that the A6 may be the perfect journal size.

I am using the Hobonichi Mega Weeks for my work planner. This is my first full year of it. I use the notes section in back to place orders I need to make for my job and to track them I as they come in. I have a cousin for my main planner where I put everything. They are both working pretty well for me at the moment. I visited Skye in October and bought a little planner with sketches of the Hebrides. I love it and use the small daily slots for gratitude. It has both English and Gaelic. Also have a couple of homemade inserts which I’m using for classes I’m starting on Skillshare. Enjoying them all! I adore the sound of the Tomoe River paper!
This was so useful. I’m new to planning, and have been overwhelmed by it all. The look of the Hobonichi was intimidating, but you helped me kind of break it down in easy steps, and gave me ideas on how to use the thing! Thx!

You convinced me the Cousin for work 😃 works for me! My A6 now is either early am or nite journaling. Weeks is my personal planner (I have boring life don’t need too much space! ) Love your channel and your sharing💕 Journaling was my struggle with A5 daily was too big and A6 I found out is perfect and stopped try to do it pretty.
I enjoyed your overview of your uses for the A6 Hobo. I use the A6 Techo planner (Eng version) as a personal everyday carry planner and i use the A5 Techo Cousin as my work planner.
Thought I would tryout a use for an empty 2015 English version A6 - as a 5 year journal! You’ve inspired me with your hobo version but the blank page on the right hand side had me baffled (as well as not loving the color or texture of the 5 year cover). It works for me! I simply drew horizontal lines to mark out the years on each daily page (2023 gets an extra line of boxes). I ignore the days of the week (which I know would bug some people - I could always cover them) and write an entry on the daily page each day - so far so good. My grandfather kept a ‘line a day’ journal his whole life so I am reminded of him when I write. Not sure what to do with the monthly pages - suggestions welcome!
I now have a planing system!!! A big planner like an EC horizontal. Which is a complete game changer for me!!! Something like the weeks to take with me and a calendar with very large days to track the problems with the building I'm living in as many tenants are seeking an abatement. Easy to take to "Renters' Court"!!! Which I've helped organize. My brain finally working better! Coming back from what should have been a fatal accident with significant brain injury. This year will be a very significant year for me. Will finally get my justice. Have no idea why so chatty today. Have a day!!!
Lots of great info...could easily adapt to other planners as well. Looking forward to the journaling video. As I commented on your IG, this is an ongoing struggle. When, where and how? I had even downloaded one of those journaling prompts list...but I can’t get started! I don’t have this block with any of my other planners, just journaling. Maybe it’s the word, maybe I should call it something else 😉
Try "breaking the page" putting stickers on it, doodle, try making a list. This for you no one else's, it's not for history. Try doing 3 grateful for. Hopefully this helps.
I love your videos and I enjoy your Hobos the most. I would invite you to watch my videos on my A6 Hobo. I’ve been using it as my planner for four years now and it is a work horse. I use every inch of it and refer to it often. I just found myself pulling out my 2017 Hobo to refer to notes that were pertinent to an event I had going on last week. I haven’t filmed a video in ages, buy it my use is unchanged. I keep a secondary planner not out of need, but mainly to play (if I have to be honest). I don’t need a second planner.
