Usually dosen t suppose to take that long.. it s the problems you may run into.. such broken /frozen / stripped/ cristalized bolts, or the line wouldn't disconect because of the broken clip or build-up rust ... if you don t have those problems, you are in luck, and everything would go smoothly in probably 3 - 4 h . If you just replacing the all assambly (not rebuilding), I'd probably give it 1-2 h - hopefully no lines will be hard to remove.
Good video. I'm not sure my DEF pump should be cleaned or replaced. Truck have 700 000 miles.I bought truck with 437 000 and never change DEF pump. I getting DEF quality us not good even if I use best DEF.I change DEF quality sensor and planing to change DEF pump. Not sure if is good idea to just clean DEF pump becouse I'm sure I didn't change DEF pump 365 000 miles and don't know if ever before been changed.
If you don't see any leaks outside the pump , I don't see why to change it . All it does is pumping the fluid to the def injector. Even if I had those problems , I never got the quality issue. If you fuel the def tank all the way , dose it put you for regen not long after? In my case , after I fixed the leak problem , I never had the regen problem after making my def tank full. I don't think you got quality issue from the pump , I had this problem from the wires touching on the side of the def tank , volvo have big issue with this problem. They rubbing on the metal... also check if your def injector is not cloged . With so many miles , may want to replace the filter of def . Is expensive at dealer (ab . 100$ ) , pls don't go with aftermarket , you ll have problems , the rings don't seal right , and you ll have leaks as soon you start the truck
Really great video. Appreciate that 👍🏻👍🏻
How long would you say it took start to finish?
