The sensor can go bad anytime of the year I’m pretty sure If that’s your question. And depends how old the def system is they always give problems. Especially after 500 K miles Probably best thing to do is delete or put a new system in there.
It was not hard to get it out. If you have a impact and you can access from the frame You can try unbolt the whole tank from the frame. Make sure it does not drop down . it would be best to do it when there is not much def in tank so it’s lighter. I would leave some of that in there so nothing crystallizes just in case
You can try to see if there’s a spot where you can block antifreeze lines clamping them or something. I had that thought as well but for some reason decided it would be easier drain
🇺🇸 🇺🇦 good job

You can pinch off the hoses without draining the anti freeze right?

@@ukiemanserg5163 yeah about a foot back is two rubber lines that you can pinch off you don’t need to drain the coolant
@@sethkube3607 ok nice. Yea it was time for replacing antifreeze that’s why I decided to drain it mind as well
Volvo made in China drama.
A lot of parts are made in Mexico, but built in the USA . I believe the Frightliner is actually made in Mexico
