    My solution to ELD / EOBR / DEF….My first and only truck I’ve ever run over 2,000,000 miles..1986 Kenworth….Every single tractor in my fleet is 1995 or older…we go to California all the time…never an issue with the 99% non existent CARB…California Air Resource Board…How..???… get an agricultural exemption permit when the tomatoes and produce is running…The CHP has zero interest in age of truck or DEF…they just want you, your tractor , log book ( ELD or Paper ) ….100% legal…this statement comes from running Calif and all lower 48 states and all Canadian Provinces…. 6:41

    International did the bypass way back in December 21,I’m still waiting on them. My tank always shows empty.

    Why can't "distilled water" be used as a replacement for DEF once you fool the system? I also wonder if the density of the DEF fluid is the sensors default recognition? If so could you also change that with some other additive? Just curious....

      Why not ,once you fool the system anything can be used depending on how fool the system is ,urea is the real only known additive that turns nox into water ,oil diesel comes out of organic matter after all ,urea from same source ,it is all chemistry coming out of living matter ,borrowed not created .

    Hey Kyle, just wanted to know what year your truck is that you are working on? Mine is a 2015 T680 and the dealer is telling me that I don't have a quality sensor but the message on the dash board says low quality. Dealer says my truck only has level sensor, not quality sensor.

    You are driven! I mean; I'm insulted by all this mainly because of the people responsible. Your dealerships, politicians, engineers, etc... They want you to fail. They are brazen and smug about it. Cummins thinks they have all this sewn up with law and if you do anything they will fine the crap out of you. I just got so tired of hearing this. As a matter of fact; I recently went to pick up a truck in Wooster ohio. It had DEF problems. I called Canton Cummins. Without any questions the guy told me I was; "One of 'those' guys. And If I had just pulled over I wouldn't be walking home". Yep. No lies. Cummins, KW, Pete, Freightliner. Anything to do with the crooks at PACCAR.

    Have you tried anything other than a laptop. Something more like a ecm that can be powered by truck to run the program.

    Kyle, I try add my faceb and Delete my whole comment. I got to work, all faults went away except SPN 3031 - Temperature abnormal update rate. I believe that is the 2nd byte of the 65110. Did that happened to you? Any ideas?

      Hmmm mine defaulted to 40 degrees with that but it would make sense that there should be a third data entry since there’s really 3 things. Level , quality, and temp. For whatever reason when I cleared mine with a factory grade scan tool it never came back

      @@kyletarvin7688 after I drove 3 full cycles with engine temperature normal the fault clear itself and the truck is driving perfectly with no warnings. I did install a small factor PC computer behind my TV and power with 12v from the refrigerator circuit. The computers stays on even during cranking. Only when I’m done driving for the day I shut everything off and start the PC before cranking the following day. I really appreciate you going ‘way’ outside the box for this temporary bypass. I’ll purchase another gateway so I can capture a normal operating truck in case some like this happens again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ……..

    Having trouble Claiming the Address, any tips?

      Make sure you only claim when the key is in the on position, also make sure you have your high and low side can connected to the correct pins. Lastly I’ve found that if you double click claim address it’ll go through. Can you see anything on the monitor as far as data goes?

      @@kyletarvin7688 I double checked all my wires and checked my device drivers, everything is connected properly. I got some data to show in monitoring mode, as soon as I click Claim Address it stops receiving data.
      Right now I am getting no data.
      Edit: getting PGB 59904, requesting PGN 65242.

      @@Freerunemem the 59904 is actually communicating with the gateway. Have you imputed the data and selected a transmit interval?

      @@kyletarvin7688 I try to enter the data under the transmit tab but when I hit save I get a pop-up saying the verify the data entries. I think it's because the ECU address is listed as Unavailable but could be wrong.
      Edit: Forgot the 0x.... stuck on the claiming address part again.

    We have Cat D7 bull dozers that are having a DEF quality codes. Could we trick the DEF quality sensor the same way?
