Hello good video by the way. Im very good on insite. But i have a yard of capacity trucks with tier 4 final. The trucks do not go in derate when egr def or scr issues. How would i be able to set that up? I cant find anything on it in perameters. Ive been emailing cummins but issue not solved
Hi, I need to activate oem side of CM2150 to control retarder, The retarder needs to be shut off when accelerator is active. Can you point me in the right direction?
Most Jake settings can be controller on insite for Cummins. But if you want to adjust oem side for Peterbilt, Kenworth or freightliner you have to use oem program for each manufacture
I know you program the older vp44 trucks from 98-2002 but I don’t think you can program the 2003-2005 trucks with Insite. I have been told the 2006 and up trucks are able to connect to Insite.

Yes there will be a bunch of numbers on the coil/top part of the injector. You will enter the injector code into advanced ecm data on Insite. Make sure you perform the fuel injector reset afterwards
Have a question for you? how can I reprogram a Instrument cluster? I have a new cluster but don't know where to do reprogram and see if the new cluster will be accepted
There should be an icon on your desktop that is just the black Cummins c logo and says update manager. Open that and click the green circle to refresh and check for updates on insite?
What all parameters? As for the temperature ranges are you looking for the cold, hot and intermediate? Let me know I can make a video or send you all the info.
Is there a way to setup or make the Unit time show the date on the engine abuse history to see about the date/ time or the accurate engine hours that the engine was abused.
If you go into trip information you can see the total ecm time there or engine hours is also available. If the ecm was replaced it would be accurate though. I’ll have to look and see if there is a way to adjust the date and time.

I have no clue on that. I know if the ecm is replaced it will go to zero.
I have a problem of my cummins engine ISL9.5 .. having high rpm almost 800rpm.. i need to change using this insite tool . How?
If it’s the idle rpm go to features and parameters, change the idle rpm or low idle rpm to whatever rpm you want.

Is the a live data operating range spec chart?
The last time I seen a range chart on insite was 7.5 I think. I will look and see if I can find anything, if I do I’ll let you know.
