This is my take on skin care. 1) Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from inside. 2) Eat your fruits and veggies it has all the vitamins and minerals you need. 3)Wash face with gentle face wash and with warm water. 4) Apply moisturiser immediately after washing your face. My personal favourite is Aveeno Baby cream Moisturiser (I am 42 years old, but my skin looks like 32) 5) Take a multivitamin every alternate day. 6) If you can, avoid the sun or use a sunscreen. 7) Eating very high calorie food can cause inflammation to your skin. 8) Last, but not the least ,avoid drugs, alcohol, smoking cigarettes,as they age your skin and appearance even faster Best of luck, ladies and gentlemen!
I would like to add this also: Ladies please stop making faces, rolling of the eyes, cause eyes to sink or hollow, and lifting the eyebrows while thinking etc. will create lines on forehead, stretching your skin by making angry faces, please try not to be angry, it stresses your skin, and leads to wrinkles the same as making all those faces, smile more as it lifts your cheeks, get some of your medicine from laughter!! Think younger💎 watch posture, bring glass to you when drinking, don’t go to the glass, do neck exercises, drink water at room temperature upon waking each morning, stretch! God Bless You, and vitamin C is your dear friend❤Be Grateful🙏🏼
I love my Tatcha, this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I have psoriasis /rosacea and the indigo cream+ dewy cream save my face from turning into sand paper.
@@staceyw.6608 but that actually does something, He says don't buy an expensive cream that doesn't have any actives or anything that doesn't do anything! and he didn't say you have to buy his retinol

Also! as a nurse I highly recommend dedicating time specifically to mobility workouts. squats, stretching, hip openers etc. you're only as old as your joints! 😉
Not everyone enjoys lifting weights as an exercise regimen, nor is able to due to injuries, even after extensive physical therapy...but agreed that finding a good exercise regime u enjoy, that works for u, is VITAL!! I LOVE my kickboxing but HATE lifting weights...it bores me to tears LOL ☺️✨️

@Melly-xoxo I'm not a native english speaker and maybe I misunderstood, but - doesn't he say, that (expensive) products which have no noteworthy, valuable ingredients are to avoid? I don't know his products, but if they have rich and good ingredients, the critic isn't really appropriate. 😉 Greetings from Germany....🙋🏻♀️
exactly, and went on to say that nothing more than a moisturizer with no active ingredients, was it La Mer claimed proprietary active ingredients make it expensive and same with Tacha moisturizers.
@@andreamck4521 Many expensive skin care do have good ingredients... for him to stereotype all expensive products not having good, active ingredients is misleading
Again the essentials are 1. a dedicated sunscreen spf 50 (ideally physical: Zn / Titanium) 2. gentle cleansing. don’t rub or foam on skin 3. moisturizer 4. active ingredients: retinoids and vitamin C at least. 5. consistency and proper execution
@@joannaryan9805 just nitpicking but I asked an orthopedic surgeon about this and he said 10 minutes of sunlight on the dorsal side of the hands are enough for optimal V.D synthesis. Of course 30 minutes should be enough too.
@@lucasy4790 There was a lady on tv the other day she said she had worn factor 50 all her life as advised she didn’t have a wrinkle on her face she stated but stage four breast cancer instead. Obviously getting sun burn and you’ll increase your chances of cancer but especially in the UK you should have thirty minutes before applying sunscreen
@@joannaryan9805 I’m not hating against you (or the lady) but an anecdote shared on TV is a really poor evidence to suggest a relationship between lack of natural V.D synthesis and breast cancer. Of course vitamin D is still VERY important for calcium absorption and thus prevention of osteoporosis. The thing is if you’re *really* anxious about vitamin D you can also get D3 supplements which are fairly safe and cheap.

In my late 20s my dermatologist told me that the top three things I could do to prevent skin aging was use sunscreen, use sunscreen, and use sunscreen, so I was religious about using it on my face, but I didn't really think about using it elsewhere. Decades later, the difference in the signs aging between my face and neck is staggering, it almost looks like my head is on my mom's neck. PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM THE SUN!
thank you for a reminder lol, I’m 22 and I mostly use it on the face where I used to have acne in my teen years. I really should include the neck and the rest of the body😅
@@thebestcat9601 I always wear Laroche-posay mineral sunscreen. Every day. And if I venture outside, I apply Laroche-posay mineral sunscreen every two hours.
Same here. I have always smothered my face in sunscreen 50 factor but left everything else out. Now my face is not too bad for a 67 year old but my neck looks about 80
Finally people are calling out this doctor! Dr it’s a shame that even at my pay grade I can’t afford one single of your procedures. Come on make it accessible to the masses.
$330 is WAY beyond the means of most people to spend on monthly or even bimonthly skin care products. I wish Dr. Karam would advise us on cost effective brands, rather than just focusing on his extremely expensive products. That would be a REAL help.
CeraVe is a very very good and is fairly well-priced in North America. Also, French Pharmacy skincare brands are fairly affordable and widely available in US and Canada as well as Europe. Use those. I do. I have also used Skinceuticals and SkinMedica and they are about the same. I cannot afford to buy those all the time so I just buy La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, RoC {which is fantastic, by the way}, you get the jist. Some stuff that I get at CVS with Extrabucks Rewards and/or Shoppers DrugMart [in Canada which I recommend going to if you ever cross], Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.. More expensive skincare products do not translate to more efficacy. 🙂
Dr Karam please do a video about STRETCH MARKS 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 please girls put likes and comments if you’re interested too! It s so hard to find good information about this topic
Red LED near infrared light therapy really fades, and improves stretch mark texture. There is also micro needling which greatly improves them. And you can have them TATTOOED to match your skin, which blends them perfectly AND improves the texture.
I think you missed his point here, Dr. Karam's products contain everything such as actives, ceramides, peptides, etc in his 3 piece set of a face wash, serum, and moisturizer. He is telling everyone not to buy expensive moisturizer that costs over $300 per jar for just a moisturizer. His trifecta has everything that great skin care products should contain in a 3 piece set for $300 USD. I personally agree with him that this is a great deal (and I'm from Canada, where it is 30% more than what Americans are paying) for skin care because if you had to buy all of the different actives, ceramides, and peptides individually plus purchase a cleanser, a serum, and a moisturizer that contained only some of those ingredients, it would cost way more than $300 and you would have way more than 3 steps in your skin care routine as well! His trifecta is simple, easy to use, and it is the best skin care products I have ever used!! I have chatted with many individuals that completely agree with me on that plus the ease of use and price for products and ingredients!! Mine has lasted over a month as well!!
@truethots3088 yes, other products do contain some of the same actives and ingredients, but they also contain a lot of the "dirty dozen" additional ingredients that are carcinogens and endocrine disruptors as well! His products are clean, and I will pay more money to have a clean product than something that is going to cause me harm!! They are also the best products that I have used on my skin, and the results show that after each and every month I use them!
Dr K I only started using moisturizers in the last 10 years when I turned 60. I used sunblock as a “moisturizer” since my skin was always oily. I used retin A regularly since I was in my early 30’s. Through a process of trial and error, I realized that sun exacerbated my tendency to age spots. Keep it simple. Keep it clean. When I see people smear layer after layer of product on their faces, I think it’s just so counter productive. Whether you use Ret A or Karam MD, THESE ARE ENOUGH as long as you protect. I live in the Deep South so we get lots of sun year round. What a challenge. You have taught me a lot too and I appreciate your good counsel. Now as I approach 70, I use only a tinted moisturizer on my skin during the day and at night. I still love blushes and eye makeup but on my facial skin I prefer simplicity. If I have a few skin imperfections, I don’t mind letting them show. It’s reality. Thanks Dr K.

I honestly won't ditch my fancy skincare products. I realize that it's a lot of fluffs and marketing, and I'd been a utilitarian on my skincare before i.e. a lot of generic products, a lot of The Ordinary, etc- it didn't motivate me to do my skincare routine. I'm good with using skincare that balances actual useful ingredients and just enough luxury feels to it such as Tatcha, Sunday Riley, or even Naturium. I even switched my face wash to Aesop just because I hate double cleansing the most. I find that using products that are actually enjoyable is what works for me to be consistent with my routine.
Totally agree with everything you have said! Here in the UK, we had a report a couple of weeks ago, that Nivea ( blue pot) has the same ingredients as La Mer! Thanks for your valuable information!
@hiannahgus574 okay that checks out. I was too assuming that it would be the active ingredients that were said to be in common. But the findings of the report mentioned were kind of like saying that coca cola is the same as champagne because they both contain water and bubbles. I appreciate your replying 🩵
I find it interesting that you would do so much Botox to a person's lips that they look ridiculous but I guess it's their perception they look ridiculous
I do not stress about my skin care regimen as I take on board all the information/suggestions and add to my daily routine and my skin has never looked better 😊
I think we’re so OBSESSED with skin care nowadays. I’ve had a skincare routine since 1997- since I was 10 because I broke out a lot. Now I’m 37 and I surf and I’ve always lived by the beach and I don’t avoid the sun!!!! I love it!!! My skin was made for the sun. I swear I’m so annoyed with all these videos because it’s all common sense lol.
Totally agree about the sun @miap2122 I am fair but I don't wear sunscreen. I hate it tbh. People come to work smelling like sunscreen...and I work in an office 8-5.
My Olay day moisturiser I've been using since I was a teen (formerly called Oil of Ulay) has SPF30 and has never steered me wrong. At night I now use hyaluronic acid and cold pressed castor oil (from a glass bottle), I'm 43 years old and people still say I look like I'm in my early 30's... 🤷🏽♀️
I started watching your videos towards the end of the year 2023 and my skin was sensitized, red and sore, I decided to ditch the unnecessary products that i new were causing that and i started a simplified routine which include only vitamin c,retinol and spf50 and the difference is amazing 😅. Thank you so much DrAmirKaram, you changed my perspective on skin care routines for the better, it doesn't have to be complicated. Thank you again🇿🇦
You're making SALES ONLINE, RUclips, AT YOUR JOB......making millions, but people in today's world can not afford it. I appreciate your presentation, but it is tough.
This is one of the most helpful videos on skincare that I have ever had the pleasure to watch. Inspired to be committed to a skincare regime. Thank you.
Just looking at this guy's merch..... they are way expensive... very hypocritical for him to tell people to ditch expensive, department store bought moisturizers.....
A real pleasure listening to your video. Living in The Mediterranean for years and not using sunscreen every day resulted in Skin Cancer on my nose. It has taken four years to get my nose back so to speak through creaming it every day 3x a day. Daily I use a filler before putting on makeup. Wearing a hat is important! I have a few hats and believe me I do wear them. I don't drink smoke or take drugs which helps the skin a lot and I walk everywhere. Your video is full of good common sense with a few new things I will try. Thank you so much for putting this information out there. I will check out your products.
impossible for me to reapply sunscreen during the day. I can't redo my makeup every 2 hours. But what i can do is use the highest protection i can find and never go into direct sunlight (use umbrella or hat or stay in the shade). I also use antioxidants that can help protect the sunblock
Thank you Dr Karam for this comprehensive list of do’s and don’ts. Please list out some facial oils/products we should be incorporating in our skin care regime. I am 64 and have combo skin with large pores.

When I added up all the money I spent, each month, on face products - I was shocked! I’m paying $28 dollars more and receiving doctors products. His products are easy and quick! I’m extremely happy and see results.
C'mon dear Doc. Make your products more affordable please! And you're adorable. You could be my son so not hitting on you 😂. Are you of Lebanese descent? Hugs from Florida and thanks for all of the free content. Priceless.
I’m Hispanic with medium toned skin and I still use SPF 50 on my face and another SPF 50 product on my arms and chest. Even when I’m wearing turtlenecks, sweaters and it’s -15 degrees outside 🥶☀️
As an Esthetician enjoy your videos, would like to product review your recommendations. I am 65 semi-retired & do not my age at all. I am super disciplined. Great job!
Question: So you think I could use my whole life the same products as long the ingredients: Vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide, Peptides,Hyaluronic acid & sunscreen ?
One thing that keeps being missed in every skincare video and is so important, is, to eat fruits that increase collagen production such as orange juice, on a daily basis. Good skin comes from inside out.
When I was young (25-30 age) I was using cheap cosmetics like biotherm, clarins. And my skin looked terrible: red spots, dryness and etc. Then at the age 33 I started using luxury cosmetics, La Mer. I bought moisturizer, foam, tonic and under eye cream. And my skin became honestly perfect! Bright, no spots, enough moisturized. I looked much fresh and younger that I used to. At the age 37 I aded active ingredients to my skincare routine: retinol, hyaluronic acid, resveratrol. And I switched from La Mer to SkinCeuticals. Maybe the scheme is not perfect, but I still don’t see big changes. So, what I wanted to say: I disagree with doctor about luxury moisture, for me it really made a big difference
You offer some great advice and it’s much appreciated. I looked forward to watching this video but was a little disappointed to see it was more like a Trifecta commercial. 🤣 Unfortunately it’s beyond my price range, but I am sure it’s an excellent product!
As a medical provider , I agree that his plan of care is great ! But the price tag doesn't work for most . Take his advice & buy the generic versions of retinol & Vit C , sunscreen etc. The vertical restore price tag is crazy . A great complete face lift can be done overseas for 10-14k , just do your research. I had my facelift in Prague , Czech Republic ...very good vacation & results
I use retinol in the evening and niacinamide serum plus moisturizer in the morning, followed by sun protection. How can I insert the vitamin C serum in this routine?
@maramao6202 I would say, switch your niacinamide to the evening and put vitamin c in the morning. Actual vitamin c was too harsh on my skin so I use vanicream vitamin c serum and it's worked wonders for me! I also follow that up with pycnogenol serum and spf 35 moisturizer. I have combo skin. Hope this helps!
@@maramao6202 I suggest starting with the lighter serums first and ending with heavier creams. This is my pm routine: 1. The Ordinary Squalene cleanser 2. Beekman milk wash exfoliating jelly cleanser 3. The Ordinary Argireline serum 4. Good Molecules Discoloration serum (this has niacinimide in it) 5. Tretinoin cream 6. Fragrance Free Roc Retinol Correxion night cream

Dokter Amir, I live in Belgium and what you do throughout your informative youtube channel is a great help for many woman. In our country it is not allowed that a doctor sells products so there is a lack on good information. Our government has to make a update from the law !!! Thank you and keep doing this 😊
I loved how the Tatcha dewy skin cream felt but I stopped buying it because it contains polysorbate 80. A $68 dollar cream shouldn't have that garbage in it at that price. It was soothing but really all it did was give me a glow and felt moisturizing, im not sure it did anything for anti-aging.
I bought the Tatcha smallest pot available, I wanted a luxury cream and I will say it feels nice when applying it but I look super greasy 😮 I use prescription vitamin A (started on it recently) and know that I don’t need to apply any of these expensive creams with no actives! I’ll stick to CeraVe day and night moisturisers. I trust the doctor 😊
I don’t mind spending more for quality products - but the very high monthly amount allows me to accept (a little more) what I’m seeing in the make-up mirror… BTW- thank you for the knowledge and sincerity you share!
My skin loves Bakuchiol as it cannot tolerate retinol at allll. Unfortunately Biossance disconnected their amazing bakuchiol serum 😞if anyone knows of a similar alternative I’m all ears 🙂
It's basically an advertisement of your products. Which, in my country is illegal. Doctors can't advertise any products. You're overusing your authority and trust people have to the figure of a doctor to sell your products. Do better.

I do the same adding frankincense with the caster oil …it’s affordable . I seem to be allergic to many, many skin care products so I decided to go more natural products.
I'm so unsure about what products to get...I get so stressed and anxious and I just hate keep looking for the right product, there's so many it's getting ridiculous. What would you recommend for sensitive skin with 2 main problems: sebaceous filaments on the T zone and chin and fine lines? I am about to just stop looking and just do nothing anymore...it's just an extra stressor for me.
could you please talk about hair care, nowadays there’s so much hair issues actually till now i didn’t find good routine . I really get benefit from your skincare routine. Thank you

As someone who definitely can't afford his products, the information is still helpful. Ive been curating my routine for a long time (dry, eczwma prone skin) and I've had the best results by finding out what my skin likes without paying much attention to brands. Always read the ingredients!!!
Legit with consistancy, there is no results withought it. I've been using moisturizer and retinol since I was 18, I'm 37 now. Be consistant, it's a lifestyle like waking up and having a glass of water or opening your eyes lol its just something you do every day. Also glycolic acid is Magic ♡ and a big one for wrinkles that is almost kinda looked over sometimes is SLEEP WRINKLES yes they are real, and they can get deep. Do your best to try and sleep on your back.

@@maryrivera2280 It can be hard, but just find what is comfortable for you. Try a few different kinds of pillows or maybe a side body pillow. Trifecta is easy, travels well ( no leaks in my kit) minimal things I have to bring on a trip, it has all need. And, it's perfect in all climates. I don't get too oily in the tropics and have to discontinue my skincare. I think it's a lot for the money. And if you use Polish regularly, it takes less Trifecta products to spread around your face without all that dead skin. Thank you for skin school. I love learning.
I think that it is important to also say about retinol in the sun is don't experiment with retinol when you know that you'll be under the sun a lot. Go with a dose that your skin is already comfortable with. The problem with sun and retinol happens when the retinol sensitizes your skin and the sun adds up to that sensitization and increases your chance of getting sunburnt or hyperpigmentation. Get your skin used to it on winter and continue with that same product/dosage throughout the summer. Also stop using retinols for a couple of days if you have gotten sunburnt to let your skin heal. Same approach goes with almost every active ingredient that has the potential to sensitize your skin. It is also important to note that retinol gets ineffective with the sun, it will not do any harm on your skin however the product you use will go to waste. However encapsulated/ time release retinols activate on your skin later than non encapsulated forms so they are okay to use in the am but don't use regular retinol products in the am since it will be a waste of your money
Less expensive dupes I love that follow the same basic protocol: Sephora Collection AHA/BHA Gel Cleanser, Sephora Collection 7% Vitamin C and E serum, Paula's Choice Clear Ultra Light Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF30+, Sunday Riley A+ Retinol. All of the above combined will be less than $200.
Using oils for oily/acne-prone skin will cause breakouts.... no matter what this guy says. Using things like alcohol and other drying ingredients will make your skin produce more oil, but for oily skin, using non-oily hydrating moisturizer is the only way to go!!!!
My one Auntie was out on the bay every weekend in the summer. This was pre-sunscreen. She wore a huge hat long sleeves and white cotton gloves. She had the most beautiful skin of all the 3 sisters. She didn't want to tan..
I find it wierd how its OK to say that premature aging is bad but we're never allowed to say that ageing in general is bad. i.e. if youre 50 but look 60 its OK to say its not a good thing, but if youre 60 and look 60 you just have to accept it. People want you to pretend that aging is beautiful etc etc but this logic just proves them wrong because otherwise why would you say that looking older than you are is bad? No one ever says that looking younger than you are is bad
I love retinol body lotion, versed, naturium, and gold bond, I use them in the winter though because I'm completely out of the sun I use vitamin c body lotion in the spring and summer
For a skin line that is not so expensive try the product line called “No BS.” Yes, that is the name of it! They are really good products that have all the important ingredients that Dr. Amir talks about, and are very reasonable!
neutrogena hydro boost gel lotion works really good if your skin cant handle heavy cream moisturizers … it soaks right into the skin and leaves it looking like glass! … i went to the hospital for a earache last week and when i was in the waiting room , this black woman that was a doctor walked by and said “your skin looks good!” i couldn’t believe it 😂 but confirmation from a doctor gave me so much more confidence in my skincare routine

Thank you Dr. Karam for this wonderful video for skin school. I know you are not pushing Trifecta because everything you are saying is so very true. I had those creams you speak of and never saw a difference in my skin at all. Then I started using Trifecta and now my skin seems to glow. Being a beautiful Black lady of 82, Trifecta is all I use except for sunscreen. I've always had great skin and now I have that same skin again but only after I started using Trifecta. Skin school has taught me a lot about keeping my skin looking great. So thank you so much for the compliments I get on how my skin looks and how I don't look my age. It makes my day and thank you so much Dr. Karam.
Interesting video and very motivating! I recommend people use less retinoids/retinols when the sun is too powerful as I ended up with a deep tan from Adapalene with SPF 30 in summer. Your skin is so good, Dr Karam!
Hi Dr. Karam! I would love for you to develop and add a SPF in the Illuminate Cream. I’ve been using the Trifecta products for 4 weeks and I see a huge difference in my skin. My skin is a lot smoother, large pores are shrinking, hyperpigmentation slowly fading, etc… it would be a huge bonus to incorporate the SPF in with your moisturizer. Just a thought!
Love this! Unfortunately, we will not be adding SPF to the moisturizer because it will take away from the formula and interact with the ingredients. It is important that you use a dedicated SPF and reapply during the day.
If we cannot add a SPF to the moisturizer, perhaps develop your own as part of the Trifecta kit with the finishing touch to protect the skin. I can never find a SPF cream that works with my sensitive skin without clogging my pores or causing breakouts. Trifecta is the future of a skin changing game that actually delivers with all the active ingredients.
My 65yr old mom never used spf or any expensive moisturiser or treatment her entire life. She used soap n water as face wash. She has great taut skin with a few sun spots but hardly wrinkled. She kept fit from her teens by doing manual labour throughout her life. Used no machine such as washing machine, vacuum etc for housework. Meals twice a day. No junk.
Thanks for all the information! I've just started using oils and would be really grateful if you could explain the benefits/best combinations of some of them and in which order to use all skin products. Herzliche Grüße aus Berlin

I'm wondering if makeup with sunscreen would allow you to wear less dedicated sunscreen, which would make your makeup less likely to pill at the end of your skincare routine. For instance, if you put on 1 finger length of sunscreen, then layered on a primer with sunscreen, and then a foundation with sunscreen, this would probably approach the appropriate levels of sun protection without ruining the finish of the final look.
Great video! I haven’t been using vitamin c mainly because I don’t know where to fit it in. I rotate tretinoin, glycolic and lactic acid nightly. Peptides and niacinamide in the morning. Would truly appreciate advice here! Thank you!
I wish I had the resources to be educated in the 90s when I was 20, I never had a good diet smoked wore a ton of make up and the only moisturising I did was Vaseline lotion , when I turn 4o I noticed the onset of aging at a great rate of knots , instead of gracefully it was sudden and it shocked me to the piont I couldn’t stand looking in the mirror, so diet and exercise then I went on a crusade of skin care spending thousands only in the last three years I have worked out the simple things to put on my skin , I believe everyone is different to my concoction may not work for others , I have manage to recover my skin to firmer healthy looking I am so happy with the results , I keep my skin hydrated and every second night gets oils as skin needs to breath 😌
I use a multi body oil , it’s 100 percent natural includes caster Argan, rosehip, almond list is quiet long , I apply after cleansing with hydraulic acid , I have spent thousands on expensive night creams and my skin has never been as plumped and hydrated looking when I wake up in the morning, I also sleep on my back as much as possible, morning I use a supermarket Vit c brightening serum spf sunscreen/ bb cream on neck but I add a 50 spf sunscreen, I wear foundation that contain hydraulic acid and spf , I have also changed my diet and take cod liver Vit d and good sleep 😌
I was an aestetician for 22 years ,I agree with all of what you say except im still not a fan of retinol and the sun ,I used retinol from 24 - 30 on and off and havem't since.I'm 46 and in the sun all day every day even with spf 50 on ( and im still so tanned unintentionally )
I can't use retinol because even a tiny anount on my face away from my dry eyes, makes my already dry eyes even more painful. I know it's because they are already so dry, so most people are likely fine with it, but I'm unfortunately not. Sucks because I need the anti aging help.

My personal favourite is Aveeno Baby cream Moisturiser (I am 42 years old, but my skin looks like 32)

exactly, and went on to say that nothing more than a moisturizer with no active ingredients, was it La Mer claimed proprietary active ingredients make it expensive and same with Tacha moisturizers.
@@andreamck4521 Many expensive skin care do have good ingredients... for him to stereotype all expensive products not having good, active ingredients is misleading
Again the essentials are
1. a dedicated sunscreen spf 50 (ideally physical: Zn / Titanium)
2. gentle cleansing. don’t rub or foam on skin
3. moisturizer
4. active ingredients: retinoids and vitamin C at least.
5. consistency and proper execution

You need some sunlight for vitamin D or you could end up with cancer . Half an hour in the sun then sunblock is the way to go
@@joannaryan9805 just nitpicking but I asked an orthopedic surgeon about this and he said 10 minutes of sunlight on the dorsal side of the hands are enough for optimal V.D synthesis.

He told you what you need in skincare, clear and simple, if you don’t understand the message that’s your problem 😂
Look up RUclips videos on effective drugstore skin products. They have some great things for a fraction of the cost. And they are very effective

Red LED near infrared light therapy really fades, and improves stretch mark texture. There is also micro needling which greatly improves them. And you can have them TATTOOED to match your skin, which blends them perfectly AND improves the texture.
Castor oil
Agree castor oil is also great for around the eyes and face
Lotion with lactic acid
Don’t buy expensive products but buy mine, just as expensive 😂
It’s not don’t buy expensive products. Its don’t buy expensive products that don’t have active ingredients. Did you listen 😂

I didnt get what you meant? Retinoin and sunscreen enough? You still use retinon?
Thanks for pointing out not skipping the sunblock on cloudy days - it’s a reminder I needed as I’ve been guilty of this one recently

Maybe it was just the fact that you were moisturizing/gentler? It’s not like there is anything special in La Mer….

Education is very important . Bravo dr Amir.
Thanks Dr. I appreciate your tips. I can’t afford your products yet, but am grateful for your videos. You have great videos!

She was ahead of the game
"There's nothing better out ther...." that's what I needed to hear!
Are there any drugstore moisturizers you would recommend ?
I do my actives everyday AM and PM weekends I micro needle and I love it never going to stop thank you dr
I enjoyed this video. It confirmed that I am doing the right things with my skin care routine.
Keep it up!
Thank you Dr Karam for this video on the skin . What about whole body lotion with retinol?
I love retinol body lotion, versed, naturium, and gold bond, I use them in the winter though because I'm completely out of the sun I use vitamin c body lotion in the spring and summer
For a skin line that is not so expensive try the product line called “No BS.”
Yes, that is the name of it! They are really good products that have all the important ingredients that Dr. Amir talks about, and are very reasonable!
Thank you, Dr.
I appreciate for you to teach us with your knowledge.
Love your videos❤
neutrogena hydro boost gel lotion works really good if your skin cant handle heavy cream moisturizers … it soaks right into the skin and leaves it looking like glass! … i went to the hospital for a earache last week and when i was in the waiting room , this black woman that was a doctor walked by and said “your skin looks good!” i couldn’t believe it 😂 but confirmation from a doctor gave me so much more confidence in my skincare routine
Hello great video. love your anti aging education. PLEASE can you list some over the counter products for prople on a budget in every category? 😊just windering.... for thise who need more details..
Thank you for imparting all your knowledge and wisdom. But don't forget the benefits of living and eating clean. No alcohol, smoking or processed foods helps us stay youthful too!
Somehow I missed your photo reference of avoiding under eye patches. What's wrong with under eye patches?
Thanks so much
Olive oil once a week, epsoms salt baths soaking for at least one hour and simplest face wash and moisturizer I can find.
Hi Dr.
@@978babygirlagree. Me too!!
Hi Dr karam thank you for your time . Could u please tell me when I have to say this product does not work and I have to change
No junk.
In the end of the day genetics do play a part. Some people have good genetics.
Thanks for all the information! I've just started using oils and would be really grateful if you could explain the benefits/best combinations of some of them and in which order to use all skin products. Herzliche Grüße aus Berlin
To name a few: Jojoba Oil, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Retinol (Vitamin A), Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C Serum, Peptide Serum. All can be found in the KaramMD Skin Trifecta! karammdskin.com/products/karam-trifecta
@@dramirkaram thank you! Unfortunately I'm more in The Ordinary's price range 😅 but your combination of components is really helpful too 🙏
I'm wondering if makeup with sunscreen would allow you to wear less dedicated sunscreen, which would make your makeup less likely to pill at the end of your skincare routine.
Thank you!
What products have you found for peptides? Agreed on the vit C, The products I have with vit C always pill so I dont incorporate them
i don't like the feeling of oil on my skin. Instead i use a 15% Glycerin Serum! I love it!
My skin simply can't tolerate any form of vitamin C 🤷🏻♀️🙈
Would you still share what products you use?
Can you please do a video on if fasting (or anything at home) helps reduce loose skin?
Why would fasting help loose skin?
@@jojojo724 some people believe fasting improves cell and collagen turnover.
I was an aestetician for 22 years ,I agree with all of what you say except im still not a fan of retinol and the sun ,I used retinol from 24 - 30 on and off and havem't since.I'm
46 and in the sun all day every day even with spf 50 on ( and im still so tanned unintentionally )
Using rosehip oil daily cured my oily skin.
I can't use retinol because even a tiny anount on my face away from my dry eyes, makes my already dry eyes even more painful. I know it's because they are already so dry, so most people are likely fine with it, but I'm unfortunately not. Sucks because I need the anti aging help.
