    This whole series is amazing. I went from never having seen a tracker to making the songs in my head a reality in less than a week with your help. Thank you! Your sample pack is super helpful too!

      Thank you Polyend, Also thank you for the 1.5.0 beta. Making instruments has been something was looking forward to. Be keeping with 1.4.0 for the remainder of this series so might be a bit of time before I get to play with it. Got it downloading though.

      Well that would be a very nice present. I got mine in April 2021 as a self birthday present, the second video for sound design will be coming out this week so you should have fun making those cool instruments with 1.5.

      Cheers Micheal, this is a series so go check out the other vids on my channel. I have gone over the basic elements to make a beat. Also get the sample pack too. I look forward to see what you make too.

    Owning the Tracker for a few months now, in theory I know which functions exist on it. Yet it's super helpful to see how they actually can be applied for particular sound scaping scenarios. Thanks for sharing! And as always, the style of presentation is really pleasing. Easy to follow yet inspiring.

      Cheers Ondrej Ivanco, I hope you do as I start going into building wave sequencing synthesis to how they did it in Donkey Kong on the SNES. So the next part is going to be a lot of fun.

      Cheers Mental, Did you find it easy to follow. I am aiming to build the foundation in the start of the video so these concepts are easier to follow.

      @@Aisjam If there was no pause button I would probably have a hard time keeping up - do not know what you could do better, but your own suggestion sounds very good

    I love your tutorial-thank you! What I have might have missed is: once you render the composite samples and save them as a .wav, how do you find them to use in other projects? Also, what is the difference between the wav and pti and how do you organize them?

    • @Aisjam
      @Aisjam  2 года назад

      Hi Michael and thankyou, I recorded this series before .pti were implemented and working on a video that will cover this point. However if you go onto your computer, plug the PT sd card in and check the project file for your song, you will find the .pti and .wavs in 1.6.0. Now goto the beginning files of the sd card and put your .wav samples with "Samples" and I create a file "Instruments" for my .pti files.
      The .wav is a recorded sound and the .pti is the sample with the tracker settings applied. If you haven't, Grab my sample pack for my usual structure.

    How do you record hardware synths and sequence them? Do you record a whole sequence and trigger the recorded sample with the first note or do you record a very short sample and sequence them like a "normal" sample?

    • @Aisjam
      @Aisjam  2 года назад +1

      Depends on the situation, mostly record 1 shots and different stabs. next if I need to conserve tracks, I record chords of the patch. Rarely I record an entire sequence however if its full of automation that I cant do on the tracker, I would record the lot and chop it up.
