JessaWabbit lol! Me too!
Dangerously expensive haha
Hahahahaha
I can relate 😅
Same ☺️
Awesome! Make a fussiest house plants video next...
Yess!!
Yaaaaasssss, but can you do it on philodendron, monstera, alocasia, or anthurium please??!!
Venus flytraps are one
Calathea's
@@megasocky Put the pot with your plant on a bigger Saucer than you normally would. Always have water in the saucer so your soil never dries out. They like their feet to be wet ;) It must be distilled or rain water. And now you will always see when it needs to be watered. If you have a sunny place on the windowsill for your carnivorous plant, you shouldn't have any problems.
This was super helpful to me and not my wallet
Loved this video! SO helpful! Would love a video on how to find reputable online plant sellers! Things to look out for. Maybe a list of any you have had good luck purchasing from?
I second this!!
Would be interesting to see but I doubt Kaylee will release a list of her suppliers when she has her own store for selling plants.
Glad to hear the clarinervium is easy! I found a super cheap node stump with some small roots and am hoping to grow a plant from it. I had a good feeling about it but now I feel even better about it!
Hi Kaylee, this was EXCELLENT! I mean, I love your videos in general but you really pushed the boat out with this one! Thank you for your insights! And, of course, enjoy the weekend!
you'd make a great weather forecaster! lol i think i just heard humidity and light so much! Love your vids xo
Me too
Kaylee Ellen, great video! Very informative! Thank you! ❤️
I just found the Anthurium clarinervium in a 4" pot, discounted to £5 at a garden centre this week. I snapped it up as it's so pretty but was a little nervous of how well I'd manage to grow it. You've made me a very happy woman today after this scoring, lol!! Happy days!
absolute steal!
*Cries in Australian*
@@bethdekoning5269 honestly crying, kinda want one but they are a $200 seedling
Love these easy care videos. Perfect for those wanting to transition from mostly common, to more rare plants. Thank you, Kaylee!
The scale system I can't get over! Love how much detail you went into!!
I’ve just bought a Thai constellation earlier this week and will go pick it up on Sunday. So happy to see this video, I’m so at ease now!
So obsessed with your videos doode.
I don’t have much free time but let me tell ya whenever I have a half hour to spare I get settled on the couch and watch your channel
Love, love love this video. I love the format, everything. How about a rare plant moderate top 6 or 10? Please do more formats like this. The best!
I just got an Anthurium Clarinervium and I’m so glad that they are on your list
Ordered my Monstera Thai Constellation from Thailand like 10 days ago, I was so nervous about it. Now I feel so much better after watching your video!
My philodendron moonlight is one of my favorites. It never gets sick or damaged, is constantly pushing out new leaves, and is a super special neon green. I even have it potted in a planter with no drainage hole (I know, I'm a bad plant mom, but it was too cute not to use) and it's not fussy at all about it. That Philodendron Billietiae might have to join my collection next 👀💚🌿
Love the format of this! I have a few new plants to add to my wish list now 😁
Loved this video, super helpful and gives me confidence to pick up a few plants that you've mentioned in videos before that I'm really drawn to, thank you!
just got a young thai constellation too, no splits at all but the new leaf it’s putting out has a couple of splits right away. so easy so fuss-free and so so pretty!
This is one of my fav videos ever, I keep coming back to it XD
that Mcdowell is so gorgeous !!! thank you for sharing, I've never heard of it before
Thank you so much for this video! I'm now adding even more plants to my wishlist, but most of them will have to wait until I have more space 🙈 but being able to have more plants is kinda the thing I'm looking forward to the most 😅💁🏼♀️ lots of love from Cologne, so happy I stumbled upon your videos!
I preordered one of those anthuriums and I'm so excited to get it!
Just started the video, already loving it ❤️
Love this video becuse I have recently been trying to shift from common to rare house plants 🌿
Oh my what a wonderful video! You need to make more of these rankings in the categories alone, like easiest rare Anthurium or easiest rare philodendron 😂
SUCH A USEFUL VIDEO!!!!!! Is there a part 2?
Great video! You present things very well.
I’m so happy my 2 Thai constellation plants will do well in my house, thank you for putting my nerves at ease :)
I can’t stop watching your videos. They are so good and I love all the information I’m getting. I have no clue about plants and the few I have tried to add in my house I have killed 😭. I’m sure I’m over watering them as that’s what amateur plant careers do lol. I’m determined to learn
Love this vid! Definitely added two plants to my list 😆
My clarinervium and monstera thai are some of the easiest for me to care for too!! And they’re both super beautiful plants. I neeed an anthurium Vittarifolium in my life now. Great video Kaylee!!! 🌿🌿
Thank you so much. This is a helpful video. I've been scared to touch my variegated Monstera and Pink Princess the wrong way. Now I know, they are not so delicate, therefore I don't need to be afraid to handle them. Thanks again, I really enjoy and learn from your videos. Because of you I found out about the Anthurium V. The philodendron Bill. and now I own one of each.
I’d love to see a video on how to revert a variegated plant, I’ve got my eyes on the horizon for an Albo Borsigiana
Love your channel ❤️
So many good philodendrons!! All of them are so tempting haha
I 100% agree with everything you said about the Monstera Thai Constellation. When I brought it I honestly thought it would be hard work but it is such a treat!
Mine is juvenile likes yours but the newest leaf it has just put through has a small hole so I'm so excited to see it maturing ❤️
Pop
Wow was definitely not expecting the constellation to be #1!!
I know but honestly they're troopers!
Thank you so much! This is so helpful. Honestly, I was least expecting the Monstera Deliciosa Thai Constellation cause is it so rare in my area and I assumed that it would be very challenging to take care of.
I really love your videos, this one was so informative!
I love your rating system👍👍👍👍. This was a wonderful video and ridiculously helpful. Love ya Kaylee😊👍❤.
I would suggest that a easy plant that looks super rare and cool but really isn't rare and is crazyyyyy easy to look after is Zamioculcas or ZZ plant (I say ZiZi but I think that's because I'm English not American- off topic) it is basically impossible to kill in my experience! I barely water it, have it in basic normal room light, no humidity control at all but I would say my house is quite warm and humid. You can easily buy them in a garden centre so don't worry about shipping
I had never seen the monstera nubia 😯 its gorgeous!
I would really recommend a Ctenathe Amabilis to anyone who’s looking for an easy prayer plant (fishbone calathea, calathea/stromanthe/maranta amabilis) I left him for an entire week and he was just as pristine when I came home - no humidifier, average light, average watering. Grows really fast too!
OMG I need to thank you for all that information. You're gorgeous and your knowledge is something I depend deeply when taking care of my plants xD
Thank you to share your plants i am absolutely amazed.
Thanks for the great plant content!
I fell in love with your videos .... I can watch the whole time
This video has convinced me to drop $180 on a Thai constellation, I burnt my deliciosa and its never forgiven me so I've been holding off but I think it might be time to give it a crack! Grateful for the tips on the Florida beauty too, I got one today actually!
I'm always buying plant supplies online so I'll definitely be using some of your affiliate links tysm for these incredibly helpful videos ❤
Such a good video! Love it! X
Wow, awesome video, I truly love when you do these kinds of videos. Some of my wish list plants are on the rare side, and that's good to know how hard some of them are to grow. I am currently growing from seed the Monstera Deliciosa Variegata, they literally took a month to sprout, and they are now about an inch tall, not all the seeds sprouted at once, I have them in various stages of growth, and that's okay it's just exciting to see them growing. Thank you Kaylee, this was a great video that I really enjoyed.
did you actually succeed at growing the monstera from a seed?
@@colewilliamson8299 No actually the seeds were not Monstera seeds, but I did grow a plant from them, several, I finally identified the plant, but it died no matter how I tried saving it. It was actually quite fun growing them from seeds, I just wish they would have survived, but thanks for asking.
Your clarinervium is absolutely stunning!!
New subscriber..... love your videos & your plants are beautiful! 🌱🌿
You have me liking verigated plants now.
Youre doing gods work kaylee
very informative, thanks for the great review
Nice someone is my city is ordering the Tai Monstera. I gave them a despot and I can’t wait to pick up the plant when it comes in.
Yessss the last Monstera Thai constellation is very easy to grow
Hey Kaylee, could you pretty pretty please make a video of how to properly store your potting mix, orchid bark etc when youve got extra left over?? 😁 Im finding my potting mix is developing a white mould in the storage container i have it in 😣
GOSH! i love your videos!
I watched the new one and this one. Great information. It has helped me make some decisions. Thank you.
Same here
Your so beautiful ..and beautiful plants thank u for sharing sweetie..u look like Bebe Rexa😍
Thank you SooOoOoO much for this. I've been wanting one of those amazingly striking anthuriums with the super dark leaves, and high constrast veining. I'm gonna start looking for one. Anthurium clarinervium, here we cooome
Im in love with your HUGE collection of so many exotic plants! Its just GOALS! Wish one day to make more videos on my channel about so many rare plants! 🌿💚💣
Oo, interesting! Me too🌱
Thank You for practical tips 🙏☀️🦋😍
Great video! Thanx :)
Great video! I must say I am amused when you speak of humidity. The humidity figures you mention as a minimum are numbers I couldn't get here where I live without being in a sauna. I live in the desert and humidity in my home is usually in the range is 12 to 18% and my philodedrons do fine as long as I mist them regularly.
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 🥰
I notice there are no Alocasia on this list 🤣 that is the only plant I've managed to kill!! I have been searching for a Philodendron pink Princess and a Thai Constellation and they really are hard to come by in the states. Nearly every site I've checked is sold out or pricing out of my range. I will be so happy when I find them!
I just ordered a philodendron McDowell!!
I'm so happy you made this video! Like I think I saw a Thai constellation today at flourish. I might be wrong but I was worried it would die so instead I got a satin pathos XD
Now I'm definitely going back tomorrow to check if it is a Thai constellation and probably buy it!!! I'm over the moon honestly, thank you for making such an informative video
I want a Thai Constellation soooo bad !!!!
@@MarionBotanical when l looked the tropical plant store had a few to pre order online for like £10 or something. So I just paid for it. And it is the shop that Kaylee has recommended before, hold on let me see if I can get the link
www.variegatedmonstera.co.uk/store/product/monstera-deliciosa-thai-constellation-variegated-monstera-plant-limited-pre-order-deposit
LOVE this! You have really gotten me excited about these gorgeous leafy houseplants.
I legit just got both the monstera deliciosa Thai constellation and the antherium clarinervium online. Like I was hesitating when I first saw the video but after watching it again I just had to get both plants XD
Love your video's! But i'm wondering how to you choose your 'rare' houseplants and what do you mean by rare?
I don’t know if you’ll see this but this would be an awesome updated video.
omg monstera dubia is so cute
The humidity ratings and comments confused me a bit at first because I struggle to keep my house *under* 60% humidity. I think I figured it out though.
Hearing the pink Princess is easy to ship made me slightly sad because USPS had an issue with mine and it lost all 6 leaves and is now a stick. Hopefully a new stem grows soon
Love your videos! Your Caladium is looking gorgeous! I have the same one but the leaves aren't flattening out :(
Mine aren't either
Unfortunately, here in the US Anthurium Clarinervium average around $100 for a medium size. They're definitely pretty pricey here still. It's on my wishlist though!
Matthew Aguilera That's a shame, I got mine for €13 from NL. Can you order from Canada or somewhere? Or do you need CITES permits or are shipping costs prohibitive?
Matthew Aguilera here in the UK some plants are ridiculously hard to get/expensive, the pink Princess is £50 for a tiny one and alocasia frydek and similar are literally non existent
I just bought a medium sized one for 20 dollars here in Sweden!
I want Florida Ghost!!!!
Youre great!
Greetings, when you show that no.1(Thai constellation) i feel happy because i do have one...
THANKS 🙏 FOR THIS VIDEO IT,S A WINNER FOR PLANT 🛍 SHOPPING HAPPY GROWING
love philodendrons
Do you have any videos where you talk about your caladium fiesta? I think that's what it is, the one in the bottom left corner. I just got one and want to do my best!!
🥰 I just ordered a clarinervium! So excited!!
Hey Kaylee, awesome video! Where did you find info that Mcdowell and Pastazanum are not the same? Struggling with this one
I have seen places say Mcdowell is the old name for pastazanum or that Mcdowell is a cross between a pastazanum and a gloriosum. If it is indeed a cross I feel like it didn't take much from gloriosum at all, or there's mislabeling going on where pastazanum are labeled Mcdowell, simply cause it is a simpler name and lots of places would suggest its the same plant?
What is the high humidity that the plants want? We have around 52% in our apartment. It goes up and down ofc but I try to have it at 52%. We can go up to 60% without getting problems with mold. My favorite plants are Calathea so what do they prefer? :)
'bought a few houseplants on the internet' it's not a few anymore 😜 great video btw!
You should make a video about your caladium
A stem of my a. Clarinervium got bended... do you think it will grow roots if i cut the leave and put the stem in water?
Hello Kaylee, are your watering numbers for these plants the number you use on your water probe before you water them?
Do you also have upkeep for pink princess to keep up the variegation?
My dream plant would be a fiddle leaf fig or a bonsai.
my philodendron moonlight's older leaves are getting brown and dry on the tips until whole leaf gets dry and brown. I water plant as soon as moisture meter hits 3. tips?
Why do sellers remove the leaves? I bought a albo single node rooted cutting for, I’d rather not say how much. I knew this before I bought it but I decided to take the plunge. Shipping was very stressful for the plant and root system which was massive had mostly died back leaving only a couple primary roots and like one or two healthy secondary roots. Now with the leaf gone and the small amount of green on the node i feel the plant has been significantly hindered photosynthesizing and developing a new root system. What’s the reason to remove the leaf? Is there something I can do to give the cutting the best chance for survival when basically all I got is a two inch bit of stem and a few roots?
Momstera dubia makes me so unexplainably emotional, I want one so badly it makes me sad every time i see one, maybe it's jealousy 😭
If only clarinervium is really that affordable in Australia. A reasonably sized plant now is around 1.5-2.5k aud. Probably won’t be on my wish list but my dream list 🤣. Ps: Quite informative video. 👍.
