    I gotta support the Crystalinum claims. It was my first 'rare' plant. Bought a whole humidifier to keep it alive. Long story short, humidifier broke and my Crystalinium is curbstomping my Clarinervium in terms of growth and size.

    My monstera adonsonii didn’t get the memo about the stable variegation. I got a small cutting last year and it quickly went all white so I chopped it up. I had about 6 or 7 props and only 1 came out with any green. 😭 I also saw Plants by Melissa going through the same thing with hers except she got all white and Wild Fern had the same issues. They both completely lost the plant cause everything was white. Maybe it’s just the genes of the plant you have. Also with the raphidaphora tetrasperma it seems like the variegation can come back after a few green leaves. It’s been very unpredictable. I went and got another more variegated one cause I thought the first one I got was reverting. Of course as soon as the new one arrived the old one popped out a variegated leaf. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Anyway thanks for the content! ❤

      @Womynxx 6 месяцев назад

      @@sunnyl7821 yes! So frustrating! I’m hopeful about the one prop that survived. It only has 3 tiny leaves but there’s a good balance. 🤞🏾 That’s good to know about the aurea though. If it doesn’t work out maybe I’ll try that one.

    I don't know if it's still an unusual houseplant but my Mottled Syngonium (or Syngonium Mojito) is such a low maintenance plant that grows so fast like no other plant in my collection. It's TOUGH. AS. NAILS.

    I have a Burle Marx Variegata. It was already reverted when I got it. I've tried propping it to get the variegation back, but no luck. It still looks nice plain green though and it does grow really fast and props easily.

    6:06 I have two albos and I live in Central tablelands of Australia and they aren’t rare but they are more uncommon
    The Thai? I got my first one for almost $150 on Etsy a few months ago and now they occasionally show up in Bunnings. I’ve gotten two from Bunnings.
    I want a mint and I have an Aurea. I love monstera😊

      Both mentioned being sold at bunnings and Mitre10 in nz, too... Pat on the back to MPI and the nurseries, yet normal person still can't get stuff from overseas without selling their organs on black market... The way the mono/duopolies play role here is fascinating 😊

      @@smajliiicka I agree too.
      When I say Bunnings I mean in Australia at least. Lucky :). I paid $180 for my first Albo with two leaves. Now it’s putting out its six leaf.
      My second one was $85 because I was going to buy a low variation and try and get it back by chopping it down and then I’ve got a higher variegation for $85 because the sellers husband chopped down the one she had for sale LOL

    • @KayBX
      @KayBX 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@smajliiicka I might have to ring my local but I will not pay that considering I already have a few.
      I’m going to cut mine down once I get Big and mature enough :). I do want a large form Albo though. That one is very uncommon.
      Now for a Tetra variegated? That’s expensive.

    Honestly the mint isn’t going to be a money maker, you can get tcs for under 100 now. By the time growing it out and propping (and if like me growing out the prop to ensure it’s a plant) the prices will drop even more. I do love the mint but I am just waiting it out for longer until it’s like the Thai

    Feel a little like these videos are very samey now - and also you only ever feature the plants from your shop. These are top ten that you have and are stocking, not top ten of all that are available in the world. Just feels very narrow and dare I say a bit lazy? Or maybe just badged wrong - could be top ten plants I sell that are good for beginners…

      She makes it clear these are her opinions from her experience. I would prefer her telling me about plants she knows, not reading what the internet told her about a plant she's never seen. That makes the info she shares much more unique and valuable than AI generated internet descriptions. That would be boring to me.
