I love that you chose the chorus riff and not the verse riff from Nefarious. Such a sick riff, but in the song itself it's kind of shrouded by the vocals. Which is fine in the song's context but it deserves the attention on its own as well.

thanks nobuo is such an underrated riff this year i feel like it gets overshadowed by the wax wings main riff which mind you is still great but i wish people also looked at the thanks nobuo riff

In Nightmare if you added the breakdown riff that comes before the second chorus that would cheekily be the best by far!
I think the riff in Void Surfacing by Invent Animate is my favorite this year
That’s definitely one of my favorites to play! That and the riff from Heavener but I still have trouble playing that one consistently lol

Your playing is insane! The most riff dense albums I've been enjoying - 'The Sin of Human Frailty' by End. 'Kairos' by Osiah. 'Ashen' by Humanity's Last Breath. 'Heavener' by Invent Animate.
