@@themobilehomedealerexcept you can't really enjoy getting into the water since the water is full of that flash bacteria as with all the water on the Gulf Coast!!! now if it's on the Atlantic. Ocean The ocean is a little cleaner

I doubt you can get insurance now. I think Century government sponsored insurance for the structure maybe, but good luck trying to get a claim through because they will depreciate the property as a vehicle, since it is registered that way. I'm not sure about flood insurance, but it would be on the highest end if so because flooding here is not a "maybe", it is imminent. Ellenton is about 10 ft. above sea level, but looks like this back yard could be less than that. You know what just happened to Anna Maria Island and this place is less than 2 miles from open sea. Great fixer upper for sure, a little steep for the size and the lot rent is terrible, but nice balcony. I'm in Lakeland and had porch roof damage, but Milton came right over and I'm 60 miles from the water.
Those in Tampa that close aren't there anymore, same with Ft. Meyer. I'd never live that close to water here again (I used to) because of these explosive storms. "Waterfront Property" here now is becoming a bad word, and well earned. My lot rent is under $400, twice the size and I live in a gated community with palm tree lined streets, but being fair, we do not have a pool or amenities, and at that price I really don't mind. It does include lawn service though, which is nice. I'm really not knocking the property or presentation. It's so unfortunate that has become so dangerous to live at the beach or any near water inlet. Thank you for the video. I'll check out places more centrally located. I may be contacting you about the place I have now. I used to think 60 miles from the beach was too far, now I think it's not far enough so I want to move before next hurricane season. This year was bad enough, I have no reason to think next year will be any better. I like manufactured homes because of cheap taxes and utilities.

Thanks for commenting, welcome to the community. Mobiles in parks on leased land really are the last beacon of affordable housing in the US when you look at it from a pure dollar to value sense. Why do you feel it is a bad idea?

I survived ok in my 3rd park in 40 years 55+ parks . All last parks I was in continuing to be full . Last park most units replaced by newer by tenants getting good prices for older units .
