Thanks for including the vesa mount section during the setup in your review, I 've watched a lot of reviews on this monitor but none of them ever mention the vesa mount compatibility or even go over it's mounting options. I too have long vesa wall mount brackets and I was curious to see if access to the ports would be an issue, your review solved it for me. Very detailed and understandably clear, you've helped me with my decision to buy one as a Christmas gift to myself. Thanks for the share.
Perfect Monitor! I had an Odyssey G9 and went to this instead. The oled experience is amazing, the response times, everything amazing! I had originally sold my Odyssey G9 240 hz, and went with the ultragear 27 oled, and was content for like a day. Wasnt happy going to a smaller screen, and was wondering if ghr pixel density was a legitimate concern... But can honestly say ya dont even notice it. The only way can, is if your sitting inches away, and with a screen tbis big, you need to at least be like 12 inches away. But even at 6 inches, you dont see any issues whatsoever. And the concern about text fringing? Yea it was an issue originally, when i had my monitor set to 100 percent ratio for windows 11, but changing that to 125 percent immediately resolved all issues. I got mine on sale for 250-350 off best buy, total price of 1099. If you want an Oled ultrawide, without breaking the bank (because if you get a 4k, you will need to usually get several upgrades which costs on top of that) and get high frames. Than this is perfect🎉
Still happy with it? I have a g85 34 and hesitating for this one or going for a 16:9 32 qd-oled (because i also want to connect a ps5 next to my 4090 pc)
I just got the newer version of this monitor I guess? I didn't come with a remote unfortunately but I've been very disappointed by this monitor (I've only had it a few days but my laptop screen looks much better, scar18 mini led) what setting did you change to help with text? The txt drives me nuts on this thing and I can't for the life of me fugure out how to get hdmi to work over the usbc but no usb hub through monitor without usbc
Wow the gaming spot inside the closet is so elegant, very nice choice man. Of course 240hz and very low response time are far better way of using a 4090, but I still don't like the height of the ultra wide monitors. Ok you see lot more on the sides, but the height is too low and the characters, cars or whatever are too small. That's why I cannot go under 42" or 48", the last one at the cost of some ppi less. Of course at 144hz, so not using my 4090 to its maximum potential. I'll wait for the newer 42" 4k 240hz oled monitors to arrive
Damn, I currently have the C2 42 inch but you are right the 120hz really kills the experience. I have this in my Best buy cart and im about to pull the plug and end up in the dog house again.
Very awesome setup you have! Do you think youd ever go back to a 16:9 just for the 4k and increased ppi? I picked up this ultragear monitor and love it but I can't help but wonder if 4k would look better and be worth settling for 16:9 at 120hz on c2, c3, or something similar.
For console gaming, I’ll definitely go with a 16:9 aspect ratio but I like the ultrawides for PC gaming since it offers a whole different perspective. In any case, I’d suggest switching back if you’re missing the 16:9 aspect ratio. You can always switch again at anytime
I currently have a C3 with my RTX 4090. I was debating on exchanging for this 45in Oled Monitor. I’m curious if you made the change and if so why. Thanks mate.
@@_ATHENODOROS_ I disagree! I have the LG 48GQ900... this monitor even offers a switch to 21:9 3840x1600 with the click of a button. But you get black bars on the top and the bottom and its not curved. Its not meant to be used like that. So its absolutely NOT like you have both worlds. I never use this mode because it feels awkward on this monitor.

Honestly, they're both pretty amazing but serve different users. The C3 is more geared towards console gaming since it used a standard 4K resolution and maxes out at 120hz refresh rate. This Ultrawide is perfect for PC gaming since it has a much higher maximum refresh rate and also because PC games support the Ultrawide 21:9 resolution much better so they pair well.

Great video! But i got a question. Woud this monitor be a worthy upgrade, from my current LG 38GN950-B? im not sure if im gonna like the 800R curvature, my current monitor has 1800R.
Oh man! 1800 to 800 is a big jump which you’ll definitely notice. Might as well try it out and see how you like it. Just make sure the you understand the return policy of wherever you pick it up
@@midasgamespace I already returned it 😄 the scharpness of the pixels is what i didnt like the most. 3440×1440 on a 45" is to low. The 800 Curve whas surprisingly not that bad on a 45" I definetly coud get used to it. Il wait for proper resolution ultrawide Oled monitors closer to 4K res.

And i dont know what to do. Any advice?
I have the same monitor & you really shouldnt worry about that since most videos on youtube/twitch are ultrawide now but can always change the aspect ratio on obs studio if you’re using that record your footage to regular ratio and you can play with black bars if thats not an issue for you, but then again it defeats the purpose of ultrawide
Two things absolutely kill the monitor for me. Number one is the resolution is only 1440p. For a monitor this big, that is really terrible. Two is how aggressive the curve is. Its so aggressive that anything besides gaming will really suck
Yea this is a gaming focused monitor, I wouldn't use it for anything else tbh. One reason why 1440p is not so bad for a gaming monitor is that it allows more PCs be able to push higher fps numbers. The OLED panel makes that 1440p resolution look 10 times better too.
Dipping in resolution doesn't make it a downgrade. It's entirely dependent on your goals, dude. If FPS is your goal, then this is a better choice. If resolution is your goal, then the C series is the better choice. Complicated, I know.
Keep in mind 3440x1440 is around 30% less demanding than 3840x2160 (16:9 4K), and around 60% less demanding than 5440x2160 (2160P ultrawide) which even a 4090 will struggle to drive at high frame rates in many titles.
