i found this video late but i did everything exactly like the video showed and said but when i open sims the gray pop up doesn't show for me and ive downloaded presets and moved them in the custom folder. someone help me is there like a permission thing on sims i need to click for it to show or did i miss something???????
Hey, do you use EA to play the sims? It’s different if you use origin this is an EA specific tutorial. But when you click program files -> EA Game, The sims 4 should be there.
Hey update if you need it. I couldn’t find it at first either, but for me it was under program files (x86), you have to click under origin games, and then press the Sims 4 ❤
@@maisonclous turns out, u have turn on some type of permissions for ur game from your computer, so that way gshade is allowed to modify the application.
theres drama surrounding the developer of gshade apparently he put malware in the code so if you updated it you would have malware he did it as a way to “teach a lesson” to someone else but now everyone is being effected from it. i uninstalled gshade immediately and im now back to reshade for the time being im still trying to figure out how to make my game as pretty as it used to look🫠

When I try to download any shaders it said, "unsafe file?" Do I still keep it? Since its saying that for all shaders. Also, I’ve seen the little red/grey bar at the start but then it disappeared, Is there anyway I can open it again?

Do you play via steam If so it's here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
That was my problem too, I went to programfilesx86 and went to origin and The Sims 4 was there😊
Try check program files 86 and see if you can find it there for some odd reason

Every time I open the game, none of my gshade settings or presets save and it always says "Gshade is now installed successfully" every time.
