Hello Adrian, I am curious what the results would be from running an electrolysis machine on this Zero Water compared to distilled water. Thanks for uploading this information Adrian, we will be purchasing very soon using your link.
I was told they are medical grade plastic that does not leach into the water. I also decant from the filter into my glass storage container and dispense from that.
i know you mentioned the portability, or the zero filter. Have you tried the Alexa Pure as an alternative to distiller for home based use? We don't have an air conditioner and it can get very hot here in the summer running the distiller during the summer months. I have had my eye on the Alexa Pure for a while for a summer alternative, but this zero water might be another option. We are on well water, which is fairly decent. it sits between 100 and 200 ppm on the TDS meter. I don't think anything can beat the mega home distiller, but it is noisy and produces unwanted heat in the summer.
@@The_Principles yes, it helps to heat the house so much that i had to put it in a back room away from the thermostat. It would make the thermostat think the house was very warm and the furnace wouldn't fire making the bedrooms freezing cold during the Canadian winters. Thanks for the quick reply!
Hey i noticed you chenged your channel name. Hey, I have 3 different TDS meters, one came with the Zero Water pitcher I bought, and the other two I got off Amazon, I get different readings from all 3 with slight variations. I do use a reverse osmosis under-sink water system and I believe it removes most of pollutants in the drinking water. I haven't used my Zero Water in awhile maybe I'll start using it. Thanks.
It depends on the TDS in the water. in wales where we are a filters lasts a few months. in London and other cities it will be used up a lot quicker. So you are the opposite of us, the distiller is court backup! 😊
@@ryanjames1575I have collected all the contents from my two distillers in jam jars and it’s not limescale. The limescale here sticks to the bottom and the sides and everything that sits in the middle is like a creamy sandy colour and it weighs a fair bit once collected over a period of about a year or so. This water journey we have been on has been a very interesting experience to say the least. I used to do care work years ago and the state of some people’s kettles was shocking, they looked like Antartica. You can only imagine what that is doing to your insides. I have also done experiments on tap water and bottled water including that expensive Hildon stuff and after using electrolysis for around 3 to 4 minutes and letting it cool for 20 minutes or so a powerful magnet will pull all of the contamination to the magnet, its shocking and very concerning. Only Highland spring water has no contamination similar to distilled.

A filter for one person with 215 ppm tapwater last 12 to 15 days. Do not belive any of the long term lasting stories. About 3 filters a month. For the same reason i clean my filters now. Zerowater is the best. But it comes at a price.
Any chance of getting these filters in the US anytime soon? Or would you know of a comparable model here in the US? Thanks!
Once we get things running well here I'll be doing a similar deal with the USA head office. meantime you can get them here: zerowater.com/

Hi there. Tht wqould be intersting! You are welcome for the information.
Interesting Thanks for sharing! I can't find anything on the website saying whether the plastic jugs are non BPA. Can you confirm material please?

I have not tried the Alexa Pure. The distiller does put out a lot of heat. used the keep the kitchen warm in the winter. our tap water is 104,

I have read reverse osmosis is good. Interesting on the TDS meter variations. And it is nice to hear from you!
Great filters but the replacement cartridges are expensive and run out quickly! I now use mine as a backup to my distiller

@@The_Principles Yep indeed, am in a very hard water area so all the limescale is probably clogging the poor thing up
@@ryanjames1575 Good thinkg you are distilling / filtering or you would be getting cloged up too!
