    A lacquerware master who makes wooden furniture by doing a job of cutting the shells of the abalones in a diverse pattern and pasting them on the lacquered furniture or utensil.

    전통적인 방식으로 옻칠공예 한작품이 완성되기까지가 얼마나 힘들고 고된 시간이라걸 손대현장인님의 유투브를 통해 알게되었습니다. 그만큼 충분한 가치의 시간이라는 걸 완성된 작품을 볼때마다 그 아름다움에 감탄 하게 됩니다. 수백년이 지나도 그 가치의 아름다움이 그대로 유지되는 나전칠기의 작품이 우리나라뿐만 아니라 전세계인들 에게도 널리 알려졌으면 하는 바램입니다.

    This is wonderful artwork that made with detailed and beautiful, I know how to make that beautiful closets with shells one by one from this video, usually see that closets in parents room at korean drama.     I really love the Korean culture and hope to learn more and more daily. I'd like to see videos about Korea's art history and meet other local artists no matter the medium used.. this video is a great example. It's amazing that we can learn different things about Korea.I love how valuable handmade products can be for koreans, in my country some handmade products for the New generations are not valuable at all. I like the most about Korea is how is always trying to preserve every aspect of its culture, and to spread the word on it. I love Korean culture, Food and Art.💜💜🇰🇷

    It is very beautiful how to spend a good time making art with great love, because the people who make this type of art love what they do and it is expressed in it! I would like to know what is the meaning of the different types of hats that are used in the Korean historical dramas, I have noticed that the people who lived or worked in the palaces had different types of hats but I don't know what it represents.

    Now Korea is very popular in the world. The main reason was the ability to promote the culture at a high level. Therefore, it has great prospects.     Korean culture can't stop making me amazed by how great this culture and these people are it so hard to have one interest in Korea cause when you know more you found something else make you want to know more about . Handmade always so hard and need a lot of effort In normal but in this video it more and more harder how they do these small details by themselves make it so hard that's why Korean art is so unique and special

    I don't understand what he's saying, because eng sub is not available, I don't know. but I've always been interested in Korean culture and also its Hallyu. I like being able to know more about Culture from abroad it's fun and can add to my knowledge apart from the culture that I have in my country.

    다들 영어로 댓글을 남기셔서 한글로 남기니까 어색하기는 하네요~^^; 나이가 들면서 점점 한국의 전통문화의 관심이 가고, 그러면서 장인들에 대해 유튜브를 통해 접하게 되었는데 그중 제일 제맘을 사로잡은게 나전이 주는 빛깔이였습니다. 백조는 물위에서는 우아해보이지만 그런 모습을 보이기 위해 아래에서는 쉼없는 물장구라는 노력을 하고 있죠. 나전칠기 작품이 탄생하는 과정을 보면 어쩜
    너무나 아름답다고 숭고하다고 느꼈던 마음의 가치가 부끄럽게도 느껴질 만큼 위대함앞에 겸손해지기까지하네요. 이런 전통문화들이 왜 주목을 받지 못하나, 현대의 빠르게 변화하는 트렌드에
    너무 앞만 보며 달려가다 뒤를 돌아보지 않았던 것일까 했었는데 BMW에디션 콜라보 작품을 보니 우리가 관심을 기울이지 않았다는 생각이 드네요. 세계에서 인정받는 독일의 회사도 이러한 가치를
    알아주고 있는데 정작 한국인으로서 이러한 사실도 모르고 있었네요. 개인적인 생각으로는 요즘 미래가치로 떠오르고 있는 NFT를 통해 이러한 장인들의 작품이 선정되어서 한국의 장인들의 작품이
    그 가치를 인정받을 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 하네요. 날씨가 많이 추워지는데 건강유의하시고 앞으로도 좋은 작품과 영상으로 만날 수 있게 응원하겠습니다^^
