- Q - Hello I've been having issues with check engine light problems. I have an CTS blow off valve, a CTS cat back exhaust with stock downpipe and muffler delete off the exhaust, and resonator delete. I've been getting a P0304 and now I have both P0304 and P0303. I've replaced all of my ignition coils, spark plugs and fuel injectors but I'm still getting misfires from my 3rd and 4th cylinders and I'm also getting a P2308 and a P2311 code which are the Ignition Coil C secondary circuit and Ignition coil D secondary circuit, beings though I replaced all of the simple parts that cause a misfire, what else can it be? I've been dealing with this problem for almost a year now but I just don't know what it is and the Volkswagen dealership can't pinpoint where the problem is coming from.

I have a 2011 Jetta 2.5 with P301 code that wont go away. I changed the ignition coil and spark plugs and code went away but two weeks later came back. The. I changed the fuel injector and the code is still there P301. Any suggestions?

This has got to be the crankshaft position sensor.
I’ve been having a check engine light on sporadically and specifically when it’s cold outside? Spark plugs and coil packs have been changed. Carbon cleaning next and injectors next?

Hello everyone I have a 2017 golf R, my problem is sometimes when I push the starter button, some times the starter won't engage, the gauges will sweep but no start. I'll push the button again and it will start no problem. I'm worried that one day it may not start. Any ideas?

Did you ever figure out the issue?im currently in the same place and im honestly thinking it might be my headgasket or ecu im not sure tbh. its just on cylinder one, i changed out all sparkplugs, wires and coils, i have good compression at around 160psi but when i did take out the spark plugs which have less than 500 miles on them, on cylinder one its full of blacksoot which is why im assuming its the headgasket? its a 2010 cadillac escalade esv with the 6.2L V8 and the vehicle has around 73,800 miles on it. i almost forgot but i have also changed out the injector
Great video, my mysterious story until today is ... I have replaced VVT sprockets (know as cam gears or actuators) on 2010 petrol insignia, since day one the car lost of power at all, on the highway moves like turtle, gets the car+wrench light on and off if trying to force for power no codes came up on the dash. However, in a later stage the car start misfiring randomly following with the codes, and lately was confirmed as cylinder 3 P0303. Changed everything, spark plug, coil pack, injectors, nothing has changed, the dealers are lifting their shoulders, and i am left at mysterious crap. I didn't have any similar issues until these parts has been replaced.

I replaced clutch disc in Renault megane 2010, now engine is misfiring, engine light is flashing when i go above 30mph. codes says that multiple misfire detected. I changed spark plugs and ignition coils as well, compression is fine in all the cylinders.
I connected OBD scan tool, no codes related to mass air flow sensor, now mechanics are investigating my car that the fault is in fuel injectors/fuel pressure or anything with electrical wire harness that is connecting with spark plugs....
I am really worried...

Your carbon build up Theory matches the symptoms in my vehicle what would you do to correct that if carbon buildup is the problem?
you have to take the manifold off and manually clean it. there’s a ton of video on it and it’s not terribly hard
I have a 2014 Yukon XL 5.3 with a misfire on the 7th cylinder. I replaced all the spark plugs and the spark plug wire and only the 7th cylinder coil. I can drive the vehicle for a day and it will start misfiring again on the 7th cylinder. I removed the 7th cylinder spark plug and noticed there was oil on the spark plug. So then I went old school and put a nonfouler on and another spark plug and after a while of driving I would get another misfire on the 7th cylinder. Will you tell me what you think is wrong with the 7th cylinder and where you think the oil is coming from and what I can do to fix it?

Same thing on my 16 Audi A6 2.0t changed injector spark plugs coil packs. Now I’m leaning towards the carbon build up since it was more random as the issue began but now it’s more persistent.

Hi what about crank sensor code put new one in still coming up and still misfire.
Carbon buildup in intake manifold valve, need t to be clean , vw shouldn't know that issue, it's a common issue with vw, cost me $1200 unbelievable

I changed my pcv and after the car ran like shit. Is it a bad pcv? I changed coils and plugs and nothing. I’m about to try injectors next. But my 1st guess would have been pcv is bad

Now I have lights that work sometimes and sometimes they don't. I'm thinking it's time to replace the whole wiring harness on the engine bay.
