INFJ here. Sister is an ESFP. She's one of the few family members I still talk to. We get along really well actually. When we were kids she was a bitch. Kinda selfish and immature. But she's matured a lot as an adult. Only thing I took issue with was the idea that INFJs need contact over long periods. I don't think this is necessarily true. What we need is assurance that the relationship is "ok". That you're not mad at us or whatever. That the relationship will be stable even if you don't get our face time. If I have that assurance, I can go months or even years without direct contact just fine. I don't need continual contact for that.
Exactly, it’s “the idea” we need, not the action, because we can sustain our needs we just need to know we are loved and important (as a fact) now we don’t need to worry and just focus on our lives.
Yes, INFJ needs to know that the esfp not initiating contact or making an effort to check in regularly has nothing to do with how they feel for the INFJ. INFJs can be generous and thoughtful, so if this isn’t reciprocal, that too can be a problem. In my experience ESFP can be gossipy, and a bit critical about things an INFJ might not notice or care about. If the INFJ suspects this is why they are being kept at arms length, not considered, or possibly disparaged behind their back, then they can react mistrustfully. We need our peace and emotional health. ESFP can be oblivious.
I dated an esfp girl for over a year, we argued like twice. It was just a fun and loving time. Any two types can experience that if they’re into each other. If a girl is hot, then she’s hot. Kinda hard to argue with a hot girl who you fuck
@@kiaadams104 it's also her unwillingness to accept external information (TE trickster) though i often remind my mother that she needs time to process (TI child)
I’m curious what you would say about the ENTJ x INFJ couple, since you have Ethan and Hila Klein typed as ENTJ and INFJ on your typing famous people list, and their relationship has been lasting pretty long for an incompatible couple if they’re typed correctly.
Yeah, as a UD/SF INFJ man that grew up with an INFJ father and an ESFP mother, NO. My father never could trust my mother, and my mother got resentful of that and did what she wanted anyway. the fights were destructive. They kept making the mistake of trying to work it out due to their emotional compatibility, but generally, I think it'd a pretty bad idea for Ni and Se doms to get together, and same with Si and Ne doms.
My dad infj said that he married my mom esfp due to his logic. Ni dom and ni inferior always limits each other wants and neither parties ever feel loved the way they want to be loved.
Your dad’s probably salty he’s dating one 40-50 year old woman when he should be dating as many hot young girls as he can. Hot girls are hot girls, type barely even matters
I think this is an amazing work and learning relationship, and these two types are emotionally compatible, but it shouldn't be anything more than a fling because, like with all Se/Ni users, they need someone that can trust them and will be loyal to them, which other Se/Ni users can't really provide( especially INxJs and ESxPs)
Yea. Idk. INFJs low-key manipulative. Slippery lil things. I don't think it would be a good match. Hasn't worked for me in the real world. But I've been with an INTJ for 5 years. So crazier things have happened. -ISFP 4W5

It's a relationship you have to learn to tolerate and work on if they are family... Would never consider a relationship with them. A lot of the things you said are spot on, especially the authoritative part. It's for their own good. Although I've learnt they best learn by playing with fire figuratively. They are the less cautious type, hence why they need their freedom. They only thing I disagree with is being on top. If ur in that position most of the time u get sick and tired of it. I've typed everyone in my family correctly apart from my son, I really want to know why our relationship is more smooth sailing. Perhaps I need to book a session with you.

I’ll say there’s much more to people than their type. Id rather date a beautiful infj woman then a fat ugly enfp chick, obviously.
Duhhh @brian we in this community get that. But beyond that. There's an aspect that cognitive type plays. And that's what we're discussing
You should do one on if an ESFJ and INFJ make a good couple. I'm curious to see what you would say.
No, terrible couple. Completely opposite wavelengths.
Esfj and infj couples kinda common. I think cause infjs tend to have high social status which esfjs attracted to that.

Could you please make this kind of video about an ISTP and INFJ?
The short answer is no.
I'm hearing a lot of enneagram type 8 overlap with the ESFP

Infj and infp?
Excuse me?!💀
I'm an INFJ. I spent years with an ESFP. TRUST ME, NO GOOOOO.
Find an ENTP(DEF NOT ENFP) or an INFP.
I disagree, tho, sex was amazing was my esfp
xNxP for INxJs in general.
entp is a bad choice. except for short term.
Doubt it lol
Next time, could you please zoom in more?
If you believe this you are in a cult. Any type can be with any type if they are mature enough not obsessed with superficiality.
False since the beginning of time.
How new are you to this?
