Most INFJS are considered “empaths” and the popular advice I hear is “Observe not absorb.” Easier said then done, but remember brain and psyche is a muscle that we have total control over and we must sweat the brain to grow. Love you!

Spot on. I hope this INFJ can find a path to healing, and a way to detach from the negativity. Sometimes, solitude can help in the meantime. When you aren't able to detach physically, you can detach mentally to preserve the growth you've already made. Meditation or focusing on improvement/learning also helps. Find areas where you can improve yourself amidst the circumstances.
As CSJ said, freedom is integral. When you feel trapped in a situation, likely there is an 'out' that you haven't considered. Not to say that this 'out' won't require a degree of pain, whether emotional or physical. The 'out' needs to be carefully weighed with pros and cons to determine if separating yourself from your current life really will solve the issues, or if there is an underlying problem that needs to be addressed. There is a stigma with 'door-slamming' people, but sometimes it is necessary, especially after you have done a considerable amount of deliberation on your situation. Some people are simply bad for you, and you have to determine if they are worth the risk. Let people surprise you, but don't be afraid to close the door on them if you've given them the opportunity for change.
I think it needs to be said, that you have to use your voice, and stand up for yourself too. Assuming that people know how they are affecting you, is unfair. You have to tell people how their actions or choices are affecting you, and you have to be able to assert your voice. I have learned this the hard way. Sometimes, people aren't out to get you, and sometimes people are just simply selfish. Confrontation is difficult, and harmony is paramount; however, if you are living in constant stress and negativity, it may be time for you to confront those in your life for the sake of change. You matter too. Take care.

@@loref4200 I am not retracting what I said, I am someone who upsets INxJ family without even knowing I do it, but if the INFJs could socialise better with ESFPs my life would be in a better place, I am an ISTJ and I go out of my way to socialise with ENTPs to make INxJs comfortable, and that extra effort has been rewarding me tenfold, plus I know how to upset INTJs really easy, so don't call me trying to be nice to ENTPs an SJW move, I don't expect the ENTPs to be nice to me in return, I do it coz it puts the INxJs I know in a much better headspace, my type is very common, so I have the luxury of not always having my inferior function activated, so that is why I try to help INxJs have better connections with ENTPs, you should do the same with ESFPs, but I have been watching this channel since late 2018, and only just now I am getting to this point of finding the most humble to use this knowledge, which from my experience is also the most affective, I am ISTJ your super ego type, so please do your best to try and listen what I am saying, sincerely sorry if it is too Si heavy

@@carlurbananimals I am not really sure where this comment came from, as it seems very personal and directed at me with no previous interactions between us. However, I am going to put that aside and address the claims you've made.
I'm sorry that your family has taken offense to you, and it isn't fair that they haven't taken the time to understand you or where you're coming from. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting an ESFP in person, and if I have, it was very far into the past and I cannot recall a specific person coming to mind. I don't socialize often, but when I do, it is typically with those in my inner circle. Two ESTJs, an ENTJ, an ISTP, an ENFJ, an INFP, an ESFJ, and an ISFJ. So far, I haven't had any trouble getting along with many people, and seem to find common ground with most every person I meet, even if it takes some time.
I recently lost an ENTP that was very dear to me, but we had to part ways due to life conflicts. I have to say that they are my favorite type by far, and I have yet to find another person who understands me in such a way. I doubt I ever will, and that will pain me for the rest of my life.
I appreciate the comment, and perhaps I need more information from you as to how exactly I am to benefit from an ESFP relationship, and furthermore, how to come across one in daily life.
I hope this reply finds you well. Please, let me know if I have misunderstood any of your points, and hopefully we can discuss further. Take care.

@@loref4200 If you can learn to have a friend that is an ESFP it will make ENTP people around you more happy which means healthy ENTPs will like you more, it is great that you are friends with all those types, but there is a chance that the ESTJ and ENTP could've made each other uncomfortable, especially since ESTJ cannot gel too well with ENTP, that is just my speculation, but Ne users are a lot more worried about who their friends are friends with than Ni users are
Thanks so much for your response, I hope you can keep your momentum up and keep up those good relationships

Straight to the point. INFJs should learn to be self-sufficient. I am doing it through strengthening Fi/Te/Si with a help of Ne. My Ne is more or less active and it seems to be a driver of that development. Ne is important because it pushes my ego to the limit. By learning how to be more pragmatic and resilent I sustain Ne energy.

The best deal for an infj is being born in a traditional healthy stable family unit.
    I wasn't. When I accessed my ti -
I ran away, stole my sperm donor and my birth mothers financial information
Changed my full legal name, dropped my whole family.
Dont know if it applies to all infjs but Lack of te manifested in me as no lucrative job,
Why don't I do only fans, stripping or prostitution? I lack sexual aggression... Plus people feel entitled to my body for free so I wouldn't get paid well and/or likely end up trafficked.
So I was doing postmates/door dash..applied for every social service ..food stamps, I even told them I was mentally disabled which I'm not just to get a disability check (when you're an infj everyone thinks you're stupid by default so hey make them pay you for it.), I wouldn't recommend housing bc you have to live around toxic ppl but if you need to go for it
I go to the food bank/pantry twice a month.
and I had to scam my sperm donor for like 15-20k
My name is changed so theres nothing they can do
I've been in countless fist fights with sensors
I rent a little house in a rural area and drive a 1999 Chevy. I keep a baseball bat in my trunk, knives, spray. Before the pandemic if I was feeling low on money or wanted an adventure I would go into the city for a few days and deliver postmates and door dash
I don't even like going into the city bc ppl would look at me like I have 3 heads, some would cry, or some burst out into an uncontrollable joker laugh to hide their shame and pain
I have to live like an old lady for the sake of freedom and I'm only 24 but I'm at peace and I'm content

I just stumbled upon your channel this afternoon, and have spent a while looking at a few videos. I'm an INFJ male according to the mbti test (which I've taken multiple times and almost always got the same result (once infp) although I've seen your opinion about the test on the lecture on social compatibility for the type), and I'm really glad you are able make these sort of videos. As you say, the online community is highly infj populated (if not dominated) and it is quite refreshing to be criticised and not just glorified. Your insight on the cognitive functions is the greatest i've seen so far, and has intrigued me greatly to delve deeper into it. I do feel portrayed when you talk about potential threats to our mental health (our impulse to mirror the environment, to please people, highly perform for some, the "transactional" character some relationships can acquire for us...etc, as well as the potential room for development and balance. I also wanted to comment here regarding one lecture, that two of my best friends are (this is just my personal, uneducated guess) ISTP and ESTP respectively, which is something that certainly has, and still does cause me lots os stress but also been veeeery rewarding at times looking back at it. My aunt is INFP and we seriously bond intellectually and emotionally. Comparing both kinds of relationships, I picture a training camp the first case, compared to a walk on the park holding hands in the second. Both are fundamental to me as of today, and have certainly had a huuuuge influence on who I am right now. Anyway, keep making great content, I'll try to catch up to you.

Just throwing this out there because I agree with you. According to the CDC, since August of last year, the mortality rate for COVID in the USA is .04%, so the survival rate is 99.96% without the vaccine. The survival rate is likely a higher percent. This is due to the people who have had COVID; yet, had zero symptoms and survived (but were not tested for it and, therefore, not documented). Those without symptoms at all equate to about 80% of people. Anecdotal evidence: My 82 year old grandmother, and my 60 year old mother both got Covid. Both only had a headache for a few days. They both had pneumonia a few months prior and both were hospitalized for over 2 weeks and on breathing treatments for over a month. (I have similar stories from several other people who have contracted the virus, and they also said it wasn't anything to worry about if you are relatively healthy and have no underlying illnesses).
The statistics listed here are comparable to any other country with similar measures in place. It is less than twice as deadly as the common flu virus that kills thousands of people every year. The issue is that 'covid related death' numbers are skewed because if someone died of heart disease, but they had covid, then they are a 'covid related death' even if they would have died from their underlying illness. Statistics can be skewed based on your data pool to represent the facts that you want to represent. Anyone who has taken statistics or deals in statistics knows this, yet the media touts statistics from companies owned by people with severe bias and hypocritical methods. Unfortunately, too many people venerate the media for their main source of information. RIP, critical thinking.

Hey, I'm a 19 year old INFJ, this is my first comment on the channel, howdy from the east coast. I wanted to ask a question. What does an INFJ do when their visions have already been set into motion by other people like them? What do they do when all the epiphanies they experienced have all been discovered, spread and implemented by people in no time at all? I've found some hope in that me trying to walk in truth has improved my life, and subsequently improved the lives of everyone around me, which tells me that whatever I'm learning here is helping me improve my fellow man.
The problem lies in that because everyone is introducing ideas so quickly now, I'll never get a chance to embark on "my" visions because someone's already doing it. I'm taking in as much information as I can while going to college and socializing from time to time with my INFJ wolf pack and sorting fact from fiction, but I need to come up with better visions to get my feet off the ground and get in a better environment for myself and my sanity.
The point is, how can an INFJ change the world if the world is changing days after you think it? Can you just unintentionally "copy" everyone else by doing the idea that you both had at the same time, or are you supposed to be original, unique, connect bigger ideas, what is there to do?
PS: Of course, I'm aware you have a negative view of higher education, but I am self teaching myself how to self teach by paying more attention than I did in grade school, so I might not be completely wasting my time..

INFJ Here, I am grateful for your content . INFJs are misunderstood, I love it; in general.
but when I need advice it is hard to explain what I need , even when I know it clearly. most N types try to , no one can help except a healthy ENxP , I have had 4 of them in my life . you are one of them . the advice would be something to empower my Fe-Fi and do the next right thing , rather than being stuck in the I don't know how to start .
an ESTP told me : you love to search and research do it and every thing is gonna be clearer . that was good for my Ti-Te . I think it was a hunch of her Ni as she was aware of something through here Se.
as for Si part it is harder if my Te is not powerful enough to see the role of everyone including me in the event , so Fe-Fi is not haunted . and yes having new Se would help a lot .

As an INTP I channeled into my ENTJ unconscious to sell all my old loser and weeb stuff and collections and also into my isfp superego to physically hammer and slash and destroy and occasionally set ablaze anything that my parents or someone had given to me that I did not pay for or create myself. Also totally true about infjs as my wife lived with her parents way too long into her mid 20s, then went to a religious college that is described by many as a concentration camp just to be free from her parents and now she is living which my tyrannical self although as long as she pleases me (which she absolutely loves doing as an Infj) I am helping her to build a life for herself and helping her to make smart investments while living a higher quality of life as she is stuck with me but the difference is she is getting everything she wants plus she doesn’t have to be not only a literal slave anymore and going further into debt with the previous two regimes as now with me she can work the other way into the green instead of the ditch and do things she likes such as me and children and have a purpose and new high quality stuff.

As an ENFJ I am stuck with an INFJ ex-girlfriend in memories we both have and we both reinforce the fears of the other that lead to unhealthy attachments with the external environment and compensate each other’s emotional needs. What exact dynamic is behind that? I am very attracted to and intrigued by INFJs and feel that same sense of empowerment and distancing from the environment to restart, but in a somewhat different manner. How can I stop myself from believing and falling into these poisoned memories that are associated with her?

    • @aladdout9454
      @aladdout9454 4 года назад +1

i think i have heard something similar on meghan levota's channel, and from other enfjs on reddit and other sites. Both nfjs kinda help each other out when the other one is feeling down or devaluing themselves but feeling happy about it is a struggle. There is emotional attachment but without any "highs" if i had to describe it.I would suggest having deeper relationships with nfps would be better. And finding your own ways to pull yourself out of one of those negative Fi moods so you don't feel the need to be attached to something(this can't be completely true, but i do believe we can be better than we were yesterday perhaps with enough trying!)

    • @souljacem
      @souljacem 4 года назад +1

@@aladdout9454 Thank you a lot for that elaborate answer. It might be a confirmative bias, but I can somewhat confirm that. The thing about this type of relationship is that it‘s also kind of helpful, because NFJs help each other out and try to improve them so that they don’t stumble into pits again. They rarely accept each other‘s moral flaws and both feel good about confronting each other (if healthy of course).
I feel like it‘s also possible to have emotional highs with NFJs, but they need to be at a more meaningful and transcendental state of consciousness, by projecting the more unconscious functions.
I also think that if NFJs have trauma in their parent function (Ni,Fe) they might start a relationship like this, trying to parent each other because they just become each other‘s pillar.
That‘s the case for me at least
Their support for each other either will be very very empowering and meaningful, or compensatory.

Sorry about the Browns, Chase. They got done dirty on that helmet-to-helmet. I wanted my Bills to face them in the AFC Championship.
On to what I actually wanted to say:
I would suggest that the life reset is only the first step. Si demon can be brutal enough to hurt you for a long time, its toxicity infecting your life and relationships.
There needs to be a mental reset as well. Understand how you got into that situation in the first place. Understand why you were abandoned. Understand that if you were abused, it wasn’t your fault, *even if you stayed.* Healing is a long, grueling process. And yes, time helps. But a true examination of conscience will speed the process along.
And if you made a mistake, learn from it, and right your ship.

@@CSJoseph Yeah, I wasn't sure because of the whole male ESTP subconscious male rough survival thing for females...which seems to fit the male archetype. As INFJ females should we develop away from the male characteristics of the subconscious ESTP or go full-on towards it? I've found that ESTP subconscious in concentrated doses is VERY Alpha and male, even more so than your ESTP man, only we can't sustain it for long like ESTPs. It takes a lot to provoke that side of me, and if I'm honest I'm a bit worried scared of its power and its potential destructive consequences if fully unleashed especially in anger. In ESTP subconscious mode I caught myself being uncharacteristically tough and even insensitive, which hurt some people and I felt deeply ashamed and regretful of it afterwards, I really don't want ppl to violate my boundaries but I don't want to hurt ppl either. And even so, that ESTP side doesn't feel like the real most authentic me for the most part, sure it's a part of me like an armor and defense weapon, but there's an even more vulnerable soft feminine pure side to the INFJ that I think most of us protect tightly. Seems conflicting.

I think last week I came across your channel. I binged watched some playlists and now some question have come up. I am going to state one here (maybe I'll join the discord soon): Since the positions in which the functions are matter and the only rules are that F and T have to be either in 1/4 or 2/3 and then S and N in whats left (which means also in either 1/4 or 2/3), aren't there some types left out? like the (Ti Si Ne Fe) closest one would be INTP with Ne in Parent and Si in Child. Also Fe and Ti in INTP switched (Fe Si Ne Ti) are no type on the type grid. Maybe you can link me a video to where this is explained. Thanks a lot.

INFPs can get stuck in the lazy rut if it's in their comfort zone and they don't feel like being productive and it could look quite similar. Their Ni critic piles on an unwillingness to want things. A feeling of trapped for an Ni hero is usually more due to a real or perceived lack of choices though.

TBH I have plucked an INFJ from their old environments and have helped them to complete their quarter-life crisis on my quest to become a man and be fruitful and multiply. I did not fully understand Jungian psychology at my time of the decisions as I need a high level of Fe and brainlessness for survival in my career I chose when I was young and uninformed of the psychological realities of life and I thought the INFJs Fe parent could help me to develop my Fe inferior and help me exist and live throughout my poorly chosen career choice for my type in brainless subconscious happiness as esfj. Unfortunately I am not sure if this is working and I may fail my quarter life crisis and she says we can reproduce if I meet my quarter life crisis but I am finding that I am possessed by and am worshipping my ENTJ unconscious to survive and get by to make it. Is it possible my poor life decisions when combined can correct and I will become super cultivated and mastered of four sides or will it be most likely beneficial to give up before I am consumed and destroyed by my other sides of the minds so will I be able to control them and access them for survival more likely or are they too strong and will take me out as I am having trouble?
