We don't but our founder only puts a bonnet on at night. She can usually get about 5-7 days out of her Wash + Go.
😫 just a bonnet, their hair isn't a tangled mess? I tried that once and my hair was a matted tangled mess. I cant go more than 2 days without twisting my hair at night, big twist just so my ends won't mat

Thanks for these videos. Very helpful and knowledgeable. What is the name of the brush you used? Also, I finger coil my hair a lot after washing (once a week) and I use a satin cap at night. I was told I should spritz my hair with water but I fill like it will dry my hair in a poof if I step outside. Am I doing it incorrectly? What do recommend I should add to my daily hair care regimen before fully washing?
I love Curl Mix, but I don't know how to keep the moisture in my hair. Is there a moisturizer spay I can use to wake up my curls the next day.

Ok so I literally just finished all the steps. I really like the results I never tried a blow down method and I really like this look 💜 what’s a good mid week refresh? Do I need one?
Hi Adorah, that's great! So happy that you were able to get your desired look. If you need a refresh, we recommend adding water by misting/spraying with water from a bottle or going without your shower cap and letting the steam from your shower loosen your curls.

Ok, I see my mistake. I put the moisturizer all the way through my entire head while in sections and then came back and added gel to each section. I now have flakes😢. I wouldn’t think a 10 minute delay between each product application would make a big difference.... but I’ll give it another try exactly the way you did it and see if it rectifies the problem.

This was helpful. I did airdrying and my hair shrunk 95% it looked like I cut all my hair out. It looked awful, well at least to me 😫🥴. I will try again and set with a dryer. I need to find my disfuser as i have thin hair

I just received my curlmix box today. I followed each step. I love the products but my hair has a white residue in it. 😩😩😩 why did this happen? Did I use too much product? I didn’t have blow dryer, so I used a hooded dryer on medium setting.
Hi, we highly recommend a blow dryer for type 4 hair because it keeps the hair in constant motion while drying to keep the cast from getting too strong. Which line did you use? The Vanilla Berry Line with Organic Castor Oil is best for Type 4 hair.
1:19 I have very short 4C hair TWA. Is this product going to loosen my curl so they are actually curls. Nothing has worked so far. I have low porosity hair. Just went natural 2 months ago

Can anyone recommend a good hooded dryer for wash and go’s? The one I have doesn’t get hot enough to dry my hair. And the ones I’ve had in the past blew my hair all over the place, I needed a hair net to keep my hair in place. Thank you!

No Don't rinse. Put the moisturizer in, then add the flaxseed gel immediately after

Can you use a hood dryer set on a cool setting or do have to use a hand blow dryer?
The hand blow dryer will make it dry faster. Trust me

Do you need to rinse after Step 3 before applying Step 4. I have been rinsing after Step 3 and then applying Step 4.
I am confused with that part because it seems I never see anyone rinsing after Step 3.
Don't rinse after Step 3, just apply Step 4.
The best advice I saw the owner give was rinse steps 1&2, leave in 3-4.

Sadly this did nothing for my hair. Still fuzzy, euper thick 4c hair with a few random curls. Creams work better on me rather than gel.
Did you try the curl mix 4 step method??
Shampoo did *not lather well (yes, I followed instructions) and conditioner is the *worst. Because this is the “detangling” step, was *shocked by lack of slip. I repeat NO SLIP! Had to use a different product to detangle the knots in my hair. And it is think and watery, like cheap hand lotion! The moisturizer + flaxseed gel combo did give me the curls I wanted, which is surprising, because they are woefully, pitifully thin. (I like creamy, luscious products.) Hope they will work with other shampoos and conditioners, cz I won’t be using the ones from CurlMix. So disappointed. Will keep looking for good w-n-g combo.
