Love to watch you style your hair, you're so neat about it. Also, love that you stick with what works for your hair. I've seen you use that leave in many times (if it ain't broke don't try to fix it) and you always get great results. TFS!
Can I just say how helpful this has been? I watched your braid out video and I knew the second you mentioned the Camille Rose Honey Hydrate again in this one, I had to go order it. My hair is very, very similar to yours (4a/b low porosity, very thick and about the same length), and until the pandemic I was used to going to the barber shop every two weeks. Now that my hair has grown out (thanks to several months on and off with box braids I learned how to do myself), I'm happy to have some additional styles I can try out. Thank you for sharing! :)
You have a great smile :) its so warm. Also Have you ever tried moisturizing /& botanical gels? just started doing w&gos on my 4c and I really like Uncle funky's curly magic, I heard Camille Rose's curlmaker gel is very good. Im thinking it could work nicely with the honey hydrate leave in
New Subie here. I am so glad I ran across your channel. I love this tutorial. My hair is the same length and texture as yours is in the crown and I can NEVER style it. Thanks for the great tips!
@@StarringLia yes, it worked for my majorly type 4c multi-textured hair. At a point, I paired my fav gel, Ecostyler Super Protein with As I Am Double Buttercream, it didn't work. I also paired it with heavy Leave-In like Keracare Curlessence, TGIN Super Moist etc. So, I bought a lightweight leave-in i.e. As I Am Classic leave-in and the game changed. I had a crazy definition because my hair wasn't fully coated with all the heavy products.
I haven’t tried As I Am products in years but I have seen that it works for a lot of people! My hair tends to like heavy products that are moisturizing and it doesn’t seem to be weighed down! It must be because I have low porosity hair. I may have to try As I Am out!
You can, but I would be mindful of what the ingredients are in the gels. Most gels can be drying because most have alcohol as an ingredient. The hair will look moisturized while it is actually dry. Foam lotions have helped me in place of gels with certain hairstyles. I hope this helps! 💕
This video has such an OG Hairtube feel!
Thank you!🌈🌻💗 A fun, straightforward tutorial!💗💗💗
Oh my!!! That means soooo much to me 💕 Thank you so much!!!

Thank youuu!💕 you’re so welcome. I’m so glad I could help!
A little suggestion, please. Use just the leave-in conditioner with the gel alone without adding the smoothie. It will define your hair more.
Oh wow! Never tried that! I may try it next time! 💕

Wetline gel is good too!! I get the jug from Amazon is last long
I used to use it in high school and don’t know why I stopped! I’m going to have to try it again 😂💕
This looks amazing, i tried yesterday but didnt section and i ended up looking like crusty the clown loool
Lol the sections are a must! If you try it again, let me know if you have better results! 💕
Thank you! 💕
😍😍😍
With low perosity hair-can I use gel every week?
