    Hey sir, how do you add variations if you have a different title for each product? FOr example that blue shirt will have a title like Blue Shirt , then Black shirt and so on.
    Because when you create the variation like this, the title will be the same for all the variations. Except it will have a (Blue), (Black) at the end of the title for each variation. Hope you could help. Thanks.

    This was very helpful but my listings are still not correct. Amazon inventory page is showing 8 variations. There needs to be patent and variations should be listed under that parent listing. I have 2 colors 4 sizes. Has anyone encounter the same issue or it is just me? Thank you!

      Creating a variation listing on Amazon Seller Central can sometimes be tricky, but here are some steps that might help you resolve the issue:
      Ensure that you have created a parent listing for your product. This should be the main listing that includes all the variations of your product.
      Create the child listings for each variation. These listings should have a unique SKU, but they should all have the same product identifier (such as a UPC or EAN) as the parent listing.
      Assign the child listings to the parent listing. To do this, go to the "Edit" page of the parent listing and scroll down to the "Variations" section. Here, you can add the child listings to the parent listing by selecting the appropriate variation theme (in this case, color and size).
      Make sure that all the child listings have accurate information, including the correct color and size variations.
      Check that the SKUs and product identifiers for each child listing match the information in your inventory management system.
      If you are still having trouble, try reaching out to Amazon Seller Central support for assistance. They may be able to help you identify and resolve any issues with your variation listing.
      Remember, it's important to follow Amazon's guidelines for variation listings to ensure that your products are listed correctly and customers can easily find and purchase them.

      Please be advised that when creating a new product listing on Amazon, you cannot directly use ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers). ASINs are unique identifiers assigned to existing products already listed on Amazon's marketplace. ASINs are used to identify and differentiate products within the Amazon ecosystem. The ASINs on the video are non-existing and are only used for the tutorial. Please disregard it. Thanks.

      In Amazon Seller Central, you can tie the images to the product variations by assigning each variation its own unique SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and uploading the corresponding images for each variation.

    Do I need to add more than one photo for each color?

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  Год назад

      Of course! You're thinking about Amazon's Seller Central and its color variation feature. It's like a multi-colored rainbow of possibilities for your products, right?
      So here's the deal: Amazon doesn't strictly require you to add more than one photo for each color variation. You could just have one photo representing each color. But think about it this way. The more photos you have, the more your customers can get a feel for the product. It's like giving them a virtual tour around the item. Sounds good, doesn't it?
      Multiple photos can show different angles, highlight specific features, and provide a more comprehensive view of the product. When customers can see the product in detail, they're more likely to feel confident about their purchase. No one likes buying something sight unseen, right?
      And guess what? It's not just about the customers. More images can help reduce returns since customers have a better idea of what they're getting. That means less hassle for you. Win-win!
      So, while you don't have to have more than one photo per color variation, it's a pretty good idea. It's like putting on a show for your customers and making sure they see the best of what you've got to offer. Lights, camera, sell! 😄📸

    Thank you for the very helpful video. How do you match Color variant and Image? Like, how to match Blue shirt image with its variant with Blue color?

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  9 месяцев назад

      To match a color variant, like a blue shirt, with its corresponding image in Amazon Seller Central, first log into your account and navigate to 'Manage Inventory' under the 'Inventory' tab. Select and edit the parent listing of your product, then go to the 'Variations' tab to manage or add color variants, such as 'Blue'. Here, upload and assign the relevant images to each color variant, ensuring that the blue shirt images are linked to the 'Blue' variant. After saving your changes, it's advisable to check the product page to confirm that the correct images are displayed when different color options are selected. This process helps customers see the appropriate product image for each color variant they choose.

    Hello..how and where did you get the External Product ID? Please help

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  2 месяца назад

      In selling on Amazon, obtaining the External Product ID, such as UPC, EAN, or ISBN, depends on the nature of your product and its origin. Typically, these IDs are printed on the product packaging itself or provided by the manufacturer. If you're selling branded products, the manufacturer or brand owner usually assigns and prints these IDs on the product packaging. For items like books, ISBNs are assigned by authorized agencies or publishers and are typically found on the back cover or copyright page.
      To locate the External Product ID for your items, start by inspecting the physical product packaging. Look for barcodes or numeric codes labeled as UPC (Universal Product Code), EAN (European Article Number), or ISBN (International Standard Book Number). If you can't find it on the packaging, check any accompanying paperwork or documentation provided by the manufacturer or distributor. Additionally, for custom-made products or items without pre-assigned IDs, Amazon provides options to create unique identifiers through Seller Central, which can serve as External Product IDs for listing and inventory purposes. If you encounter difficulties, Amazon Seller Support can offer further guidance on how to accurately identify and input External Product IDs for your listings.

    I made 3 listings for 3 style of product (Yellow, White, Blue). In this case, if I want to group those listings as variaiton, do I need to delete all listing and start new? or I can make one additional listing and tie them up? Please help me...

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  Год назад +1

      You don't need to delete your existing listings to group them as variations. Variations allow customers to see all the different options (such as color or size) for your product on a single detail page, making it easy for them to compare and choose.
      Here's how you can create a variation relationship among existing listings:
      Prepare your Inventory File: Download an Inventory File for your category. This can be done from the "Add Products via Upload" page.
      Parent Product: You need to create a parent product. The parent product won't be purchasable or visible on Amazon, but it's used to establish the relationship between the variations (children). This is done by setting the 'parent-sku' and 'relationship-type' fields.
      Child Products: Your existing products will be the children. Each child has its own SKU, and the 'parent-sku' field will be the SKU you assigned to the parent. The 'relationship-type' field should be set as 'Variation'.
      Variation Theme: In the 'variation-theme' field, specify how your products vary. In your case, it would be 'Color'.
      Complete Remaining Fields: Fill out all remaining fields in the inventory file for each SKU, following Amazon's product listing guidelines.
      Upload your File: Once your inventory file is complete, upload it to Amazon from the "Add Products via Upload" page.
      Remember, it may take some time for the changes to reflect on your Seller Central account and the Amazon marketplace.
      Please note that the variation theme available may depend on the product category. Also, changing the variation can have implications on product reviews and ratings, as reviews are tied to the child ASIN and not the parent.
      Always double-check Amazon's requirements for product variations to make sure you are in compliance. If you have any trouble or need more assistance, you can also reach out to Amazon Seller Support for help.

      If the listings are reflecting an inactive status such as having no inventory then the detail page will not update until the listing is active. Same thing for when you're wanting to edit the listing attributes or images.. the listing itself will need to be active. The backend system wont upload your stuff because its registering your listing as being in a dormant status. Also, Variation family will need to share the same categorization such as product type, gl product type and item type name (browse node path). Lastly, the any attribute updates can take 24 hours to post and image updates will take 48 to post. Post = Reflect onto the detail page. Hope this helps..

    So!! I have 1 product with 4 different colors.. black, pink, green , and orange … I need 4 upc?? And does it matter what variation is the main one?

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  10 месяцев назад +1

      Here's how it works:
      Parent ASIN: This is the main product listing that represents your product. You'll create this listing with a single UPC, and it should typically be associated with the most common or default variation of your product. This is the "parent" of all the variations.
      Child ASINs: These are the individual variations of your product, such as different colors (black, pink, green, and orange in your case). You can create child ASINs under the parent ASIN to represent each color variation. These child ASINs won't have their own UPCs; instead, they'll inherit the UPC of the parent ASIN.
      It doesn't matter which variation is set as the main one, as long as it accurately represents the product. The main variation (often called the "default" variation) is the one that customers will see first when they land on the product page, but they can easily switch between variations if they want a different color.
      To clarify, you need:
      One UPC for the parent ASIN (the main product listing).
      No additional UPCs for the child ASINs (color variations).
      Make sure that the child ASINs are properly linked to the parent ASIN so that customers can easily navigate between different color options on the same product page. This approach streamlines your product listings and makes it easier for customers to find and purchase the variations they want.

      Oh, I feel you! It can be a tad bit confusing when your product variations aren't showing up the way you want on Amazon Seller Central. If your variations are still not showing up correctly, here are a few things you can check:
      Flat File: There may be an error in your flat file. Check that all the relationships are correctly identified in your feed.
      Inventory: Make sure that each variation has inventory available. Amazon won't display variations that are out of stock.
      Processing Time: Amazon can take up to 4 hours to process new listings, and in some cases even longer. If you've recently added the variations, you might just need to wait a bit.
      Category: Certain categories do not support variations. Ensure your product category does.
      If you've tried all of this and you're still facing issues, it may be best to contact Seller Support for help. Sometimes, a technical issue may need a closer look from the team.
      Remember, every bit of patience brings you closer to a perfectly polished listing! You got this! 🎉😄

    Hello - Thank you for the great video. However, I am having some issues and I don't know if you can help me. I am not sure that I am creating my variations correctly as my "add product" page looks a bit different than yours. I have A5 journals, that have GTIN exemption, with different images that I would like to list as the variations. The price and size are the same, just the image is the variation. However, after creating my listing, I added an image to each variation after it was posted (it wouldn't allow me to do so when I initially created the listing) but when I click on the main product link in my inventory, it brings me to a page with just the first product in the variation. It hasn't been 24 hours yet, so maybe I am being impatient. It does not show any other options/variations. Also, there is no space that says "parent" or "child' when I created the listing.Do you know what I am doing wrong?

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  2 месяца назад

      It sounds like you are experiencing issues with properly setting up variations for your A5 journals on Amazon Seller Central. When creating a product with variations, it is crucial to ensure that the variations are correctly linked to a parent listing. If you are using a GTIN exemption, you need to make sure that the variations are set up under a parent listing that accurately reflects the different attributes (in your case, the images). During the initial creation process, you should select "Create variations" and specify the attribute that varies, such as "Design" or "Cover Image." After selecting the variation type, you should be able to add each variant (each journal with a different image) under this parent listing. If you didn't see an option for "parent" or "child," it might be because the variation creation process wasn't properly followed, or there could be a display issue with your Seller Central interface.
      Since you mentioned that the variations are not appearing correctly and you couldn't add images initially, it might be a temporary glitch or a delay in processing by Amazon. However, to ensure everything is correctly set up, go back to "Manage Inventory" and select the parent listing for your journals. Use the "Edit" option to revisit the "Variations" tab and verify that all variants are listed under the parent. Make sure each variation has the correct image and details. If variations still do not display correctly, you may need to re-create the listing from scratch, ensuring that variations are set up properly from the beginning. Also, consider contacting Amazon Seller Support for further assistance, as they can provide specific guidance and help resolve any system-related issues that might be affecting your listing.

    When you go from the "Vital Info" tab to the "Product Details" tab, your "Shipping" tab disappears. How did that happen? For me the "Shipping" tab still stays there and I can't fill that out because each product on my variation has different sizes

    • @BlueTuskr

      I believe we already set up a shipping template on our products. This is the reason why it disappeared when the website had detected that we already have one. You can create up to 20 shipping templates for specific groups of SKUs.
      Before you create a template, verify that your default shipping address is accurate and make sure you understand the requirements.
      Here are the steps:
      Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account.
      Go to the "Settings" menu and select "Shipping Settings."
      Click on the "Shipping Templates" tab.
      Click the "Create Shipping Template" button.
      Enter a name for the shipping template and select the marketplace(s) where it will be applied.
      Choose the shipping services that you want to offer and set the shipping rates for each service.
      Set the shipping settings, including the order handling time and the shipping time.
      Choose the regions where you want to ship your products.
      Review the settings and click "Save."
      Once you have created your shipping template, you can apply it to your listings so that your customers can see the shipping options and rates that you offer. You can also edit or delete the shipping template at any time.

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  Год назад +1

      If you have created a listing on Amazon Seller Central and mistakenly selected the "Generic" category, you can change it to the appropriate category by following these steps:
      Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account.
      Go to the "Inventory" tab and select "Manage Inventory."
      Find the product listing that you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
      Scroll down to the "Vital Info" section and click on the "Edit" button next to the "Category" field.
      Select the appropriate category for your product and click "Save and Finish."
      After making this change, it may take some time for the listing to be updated on Amazon's website.
      Regarding the issue with your main product pictures not showing on the first page and showing your variation picture instead, you can try the following steps:
      Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account.
      Go to the "Inventory" tab and select "Manage Inventory."
      Find the product listing that you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
      Scroll down to the "Variations" section and click on the "Edit" button next to the variation that you want to edit.
      Click on the "Images" tab and select the appropriate image for your main product picture.
      Save your changes and wait for them to be updated on Amazon's website.
      If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact Amazon Seller Central support for further assistance.
      Regarding deleting the listing and creating a new one with the same UPC, it is generally not recommended to do so as it can cause issues with your inventory and sales data. Instead, it is better to edit the existing listing to fix any issues.

    Where do I get the ASIN # for my variations and products? I can't seem to figure that one part out.

    • @BlueTuskr
      @BlueTuskr  Год назад

      So, ASIN stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number. It's a unique block of 10 letters and/or numbers that identify items. Amazon uses ASINs to manage its product catalog, making it easier to find and categorize products.
      Now, the question is, where do you find these elusive ASINs? Well, here's the deal:
      For Existing Products: If you're selling a product that already exists on Amazon, the ASIN is already available. You can find it on the product detail page, in the product URL, or in the product information section. Just search for the product on Amazon, and voila, there's your ASIN!
      For New Products: Here's where it gets a bit tricky. If you're adding a brand-new product that isn't already on Amazon, you won't have an ASIN... yet. When you create a new product listing through Seller Central, Amazon will assign a new ASIN to your product. So, you don't have to worry about finding or creating an ASIN, Amazon's got you covered!
      For Variations: For product variations (like different sizes or colors of the same product), each variant will have its own unique ASIN. When you create the variations under the parent listing, Amazon will assign a unique ASIN to each child variation.
      Remember, ASINs are a key part of how Amazon organizes its huge product catalog, so keeping track of yours is important. But don't worry, you've got this in the bag! 😄👍

      @BlueTuskr  2 месяца назад

      On Amazon Seller Central, you can set multiple offer prices for variations of a product by utilizing the "Manage Inventory" and "Edit Variations" features. Start by navigating to the "Inventory" tab in Seller Central and selecting "Manage Inventory." Locate the parent product listing that contains variations and click on the "Edit" button next to it. Within the edit screen, you'll find options to manage variations. Select the specific variation you want to modify and click on "Edit" next to its details.
      In the variation edit page, you can set different prices for each variation under the "Pricing" section. Amazon allows you to enter specific prices for each variation, which can differ based on factors like size, color, or other attributes. Ensure each variation's pricing accurately reflects its unique characteristics and market demand. Once you've inputted the prices, save your changes. This approach enables you to offer competitive pricing across different variations of the same product, catering to diverse customer preferences and maximizing sales opportunities on Amazon.

      The size option might not be showing up during the creation of an Amazon listing variation due to reasons like incorrect category selection, missing attribute fields, outdated templates, browser issues, improperly set up parent-child relationships, or issues with the size chart configuration. Ensure you're using the correct category, the latest template, and that all necessary fields are filled out. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser if needed. If the issue persists, consider consulting Amazon’s seller support, guidelines, or seller forums for specific assistance and insights.

      Have you figured it out, bro? No size variation for me either.
