- A registered trademark is NOT REQUIRED to sell your branded products on Amazon. Follow this simple process to list your branded products on Amazon WITHOUT a registered trademark and easily get Brand Approval. You need to get Brand Approval first before listing your branded products to avoid listing your products as Generic because it can not be changed to your brand later and listing as Generic will create future issues for you.

I'm glad you found it helpful! If it's already taken by someone else, then they've already brand registered it on Amazon. You'll get a warning when you're adding your product that you can't use it without approval

I have three variations if I’m understanding this correctly all I need is one GS1 barcode but 3 upc’s? I need the GS one to get brand approval, correct? I look forward to your reply. Great Video! I do have one question. When I pick my product has a variation, the option "External Product ID" simply disappears. And amazon doesn't give me the option to "apply to sell". What should I do?

Q2. If the storage fee is charged when the item has been sold, there will not have storage fee on the rest inventory units which storage within 365 days. So, i do not need to worry about the storage fee for inventory units which are within 365 days. Right?

The Amazon rules say something about “stick on the packaging so it doesn’t easily come off”. But then you said you can use a sticker or a label. So does that mean a permanent label would not be allowed?

Great Video! I have a pending trademark and enroll in Brand Registry but I need to provide ASIN of the product. While creating the product listing here it says to leave this workflow and go brand registry if you have trademark, so how can I get the ASIN?

So this doesn't work for POD products, I assume? Or it'll at least require getting one sample piece for the product photo requirement? Is this step required for every product listing when using this method or just for the first product?
Hello, I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I assume you’re selling all of your POD products under your own brand/label. So get brand approval for your brand and you’ll be able to list all your future products (that you’re selling under that brand) under your brand without going through the approval process again. I explain how to do that in the video.

i already have my product packaged in plain clear polly bags. i was planning on putting a sticker on the polly bag with my brand logo and info on it. i would say the sticker is not easily removed from the packaging, but would this disqualify me? i would hate to have to spend more money and repackage all my stuff.... please help :(
You can try and see if it gets approved. I’m guessing it won’t.
@crescent kao but if we print our brand name on product supplier said to manufacture 500 moq but they give us sticker on the box but they dont give 100 units with printed box so what should we do should we do transparent sticker on box ??????? because they dont want print for 100 pcs
Print one at home, cut it out and glue it on the entire side of the box so it looks real and not a sticker/label.
Could you put the branding on the packaging instead of the product or does it have to be both?

I am have listed my product and facing issues for selling application for catalog where it’s asking to upload images with brand name but I have seen many products without their brand name affixed on the product packaging. How is it possible then?
The other sellers might be selling unbranded/generic products or once you're brand approved, you don't have to have pics with your brand on the product.
I have a pending trademark already so I can technically go do brand registry BUT I don't have the manufacturing and distribution paper work as I have not placed an order with AliBaba yet, Can I just do brand approval for now and then do Brand Registry later on? @@caink7194 you’re welcome. I think you’re misunderstanding what trademarking is. Registering your trademark *is registering it with the government*. If you don’t want to trademark it, then don’t. You won’t have as much legal brand protection. You can google it to learn more about it.

When you register your trademark, you can prevent third parties from using your name or a name similar to it to sell goods or offer services.
If you don't register your trademark, then someone else can come and list with same brand name?
