    When filing a trademark for a logo, you're able to submit without putting words or numbers associated with it (imagine the Pepsi logo without the word Pepsi or anyways around it). In this scenario would that not qualify for brand registry?

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  Месяц назад +1

      That’s registering a mark versus text. As long as you’ve registered for a trademark, you can apply for brand registry.

    • @CrescentKao

      Brand approval is different than applying for Brand Registry. To enroll on Brand Registry you need to have a trademark. For Brand Approval you don’t.

    HI
    I WOUILD LIKE TO ASK YOU THAT I GET TRADEMARK SERIAL NUMER FOR COFFEE MUG.
    AND I CHANGE TO ORDER WATER BOTTLE. SO IT IS OK TO APPLY BRAND REGISTER IN AMAZON FOR WATER BOTTLE WITH COFFEE MUG TRADEMARK SERIAL NUMBERS

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  2 месяца назад

      Hello. Trademarks are for protecting brand names and logos, not products. If you want to protect your mug, you need to apply for a patent. It’s highly unlikely likely you’ll be able to get a utility patent for a coffee mug. You can get a design patent but it would be useless.

    CrescentKao. I'm a little confused I got rejected due to the following : we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (e.g. tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time submitting the Brand Registry enrollment form. If the name of the business owning the trademark is incorrectly updated on the USPTO website, please make sure you update the business information correctly on the USPTO website first before submitting your new Brand application. Brand Registry sources the business name from the USPTO website and hence any incomplete or inaccurate information on the USPTO website associated with your trademark may negatively impact your application.) any thoughts on how to fix this?
