Does anyone know how to fix FBA variation issue? (FBA parent/child looks out of stock/inactive). They were initially a separate FBA products, I have managed to merged them as Parent/Child by copying one fba listing and just adding variations to that “copy listing”. Some of my products worked with this method to create parent/child. Some of them didn’t work(parent/child is there, but says out of stock). I will appreciate if anyone can suggest a solution! And someone that is starting off brand new I cannot afford the gs1 website and I would prefer not to pay $30 for a GTI in. So I guess I will have to just do a GTI an exemption on Amazon. I thought this video was going to show me a quicker way.

Main questions: how does Amazon select parent vs child images in listings. How can you control which images appear for parent/child products. Where to add/edit images for parent/child listings. In 10th minute, you explained about 2 different size variations for the same product. For example we have 3 colors, and 2 sizes. Few questions here: 1. Will Amazon treat them as separate products? 2. What will be the FBA cost of this collective listing. 3. When shipping, how do we differentiate the 6 variations for this product. 4. Will Amazon keep these 6 variations on 6 different pallets? And charge us separately for storage for each? 5. How can we combine variations. Are you suppose to use a product ID for parent listing? I did that and my model variations were all the same. When I left that part blank I was able to get the different models to show up on the listing. I also watched a video from AMZ seller that said to leave it blank because the parent listing is not for sale.

Hi I thought I would take the time to reply to you but I assume you may have passed the need for the information. The parent listing is just a fake listing that binds the children to the page. You will not need a UPC for the parent as the parent is not being sold, the children (the actual products) are being sold. Hope you have had much success in your amazon journey

No, those are all dependent of the category. If you do "ColorName" or any other "Name" you can name it anything. Might be your best option or try changing your category.

But Ive been having two main problems, maybe you could help. 1) The category says "no variations available for this category" but I do have color variations and if I modifiy category to accept variations.. 2) even though I have new purchased UPC, when I enter variations it says that I have ASIN/UPC and color conflict with an Amazon existing ASIN. :(. Is there anyway I can fix that error? It is such a great video but it wasnt as easy for me because some of the options werent able in my page.

If you live in Australia like i do and don't have a brand name registered yet, I was told by seller central to use the word 'Generic'

You said grab your FNSKU. Do you have to put that on the listing? (FBM) Do i need to worry about this as FBM/. Or will it just be on the labels?

Hey Camron, Thanks for video, I have a question that if I am creating 2 variations, 1st for a pack of 3 Pieces of pen and 2nd for a pack of 6 pieces of pen, their is no variation in size and color, the only thing is that I am changing the quantity in both variation and the product is exactly same, so do I need 2 UPC for this, please reply your feedback is appreciated. thankyou.
Hi Camron.. It is very useful video. But Ive been having two main problems, maybe you could help. 1) The category says "no variations available for this category" but I do have color variations and if I modifiy category to accept variations.. 2) even though I have new purchased UPC, when I enter variations it says that I have ASIN/UPC and color conflict with an Amazon existing ASIN. :(. Is there anyway I can fix that error? It is such a great video but it wasnt as easy for me because some of the options werent able in my page.
