Anyone going through PPC headaches like I have just stick at it. It has driven me nuts for weeks but finally with the help of this vid I am finally making progress, cheers Camron.
Thank you Cameron. Helium 10, project X, freedom course, jungle course, tons of PPC youtubers and many many others, but you are by far the best I’ve watched on this. Easy and simple, to the point. Thank you.
I just started selling on Amazon and this was just great! I totally understand everything you said. I took notes and I'm going to go launch some campaigns after I get my keyword searches in place.. My product's pretty new.. It's a Brand, but I'll do the "sponsored products".. and I'm so in the discovery phase.. Thanks again! Look forward to learning more from you..
Fantastic video and very details, especially for newbies like me ... after watching your video I have launched my very first product and first PPC campaign! yeah
I enjoyed this video. I was looking for information on campaign optimizing, but as a newbie found a lot of value in this video. I hit the "like" button and will be subscribing to your channel. Thank you!
Ok since my first language is not English you speak very fast for me 😂😂 but thanks for such a helpful video. I am gonna watch it many times in order to understand everything but it is worthy. Many blessings 🙏
@@CamronJames Thanks for the reply, so that means exact campain will be created after when you get the exact keywords from broad and phrase. What we learnt here is use helium 10 get the exact keywords and create exact campain almost the same time
Best video I have seen on ppc. I am new and needed to learn how to navigate the reports. Thank you. Do sales show up late or do they show up the day of a sale?
Hi Camron, with the last ppc campaign in the video of targeted products. How do you read the reports from it? I mean, what is the final objective? To find competitor products that you can eventually target directly, meaning on ASIN level instead of category level?
Good video - but going by stats the campaign cost is more or less same the revenue. To continue using Amazon PPC, campaign should have a ROAS of 450% (at least) to breakeven.
Great contents, thanks, subscribed. could you make a video about brand register for new Amazon sellers? Specifically, not sure when to register trade mark and apply for brand registration coz not 100% sure with the first product, may even change products in the future?
Can you explain "Bid" vs "Default Bid"? Do they add them together? Also, if I sold a book, but it took 9 clicks do so, for example, resulting in my ACOS being high, should I pause the keyword or lower my bid?
The default bid is set by Default by Amazon and the Custom Bid is set by you. You have to decide your target clicks and target ACOS. If the clicks you get, cost you more and leave no profit, you have to reduce your bid slowly(10-12 cents).
I can’t add product to my list I used GS1 cods and also GTIN exception non of them worked when I was finally able to add one but I went to the list it was totally different product then I added .now I have produced sitting here not able to add them
HI Camron thank you very much for posting videos. This is so much great information. I noticed that the video is a year and a half old. Would you say that we can still use same campaign procedure today (July 2022) or is there updated version? If so could you please provide the link? Thank you very much for your response.
Thank you for another great video Camron. I was wondering how much of this you use for products that have been on sale long term. Do you still maintain some PPC advertising at a lower level, or would you eventually want to reduce it to nothing at all once you have built up reviews etc
My ppc mngr already has similar collar campaigns going. I’m making another new product listing nearly identical to those already being advertised. Should I just copy his keywords or should I start new discovery ones and since I’m a small seller do you recommend phrase auto only? Pls reply with details. Thx
Thanks this was excellent and very valuable information. A lot more confident now. It seems that no one mentions what sort of budget you should put towards a PPC campaign? Especially when you're starting out. I'd like to be able to have a realistic budget for this. What do you suggest? Or how should I go about working this out?
It's all about your product competition. But I will suggest you start on a low budget. Your exact campaign budget should be high as compared to Auto, phrase and broad. Because cpc of exact is always high due to high competition of that keywords.
If a keyword in the auto campaign is doing good would it be good to put it into my listing even if that keyword isn't relevant to my product? Or would amazon still rank me (organically) for that keyword even if its not in my listing?
As usual, great explanation!! Really appreciate it. I did have one question, do u split ur ad budget among the 3, phrase, broad and exact campaigns? Is there like a percentage like 40, 40, 20? Thanks again.
With Helium 10's cerebro help, will auto campaign then not yield as much sales and keywords as manual broad and phrase campaign? How often do you suggest optimizing campaigns when first starting out?
Very basic question, when i put the keywords in the listing section, so on the back end, do they need to be divided by a comma for example: milk frother, coffe frother, espresso frother OR i can just write them like this milk frother coffe frother espresso frother? Amazing video
Thank you Cam. Your video is very valuable for new seller like me. I just tried purchasing the ads for a week and wonder whether you have ever had this issue i.e. the CPC is higher than my bid e.g. I set the cost at $1 or 1.5 but the cost per click is $2.24. I did set dynamic down only for 50% but I couldn't reconcile the rationale behind $2.24, which made me out of budget very quickly during the day. I reached out to Amazon twice as this issue occurred 2 days consecutively. I just want to understand the logic so I can manage my budget spending properly but all they told me is that I cannot trust the number on the dashboard but need to wait for 72 hrs and run the report to see the actual spending. I understand they need to validate the # of the click but the cost per click should be correct isn't it? Now, I still don't know what I did wrong that make the cost per click skyrocket like that.
