El ceviche es imposible que se haya creado en Perú ya que el limón lo trajeron los españoles mucho antes a Mexico que a Perú. El ceviche se come en toda la región que abarca desde el sur de México hasta Chile, y no es creación de los peruanos sino que su origen es 100% desconocido.
Si bien es cierto que en Perú se comía pescado con chile y sal, pero eso no es ceviche sino algo completamente distinto. Los peruanos se lo adjudican por que los japoneses influyeron en esa gastronomía, pero el pescado se come en todo el mundo, no solo en Japón ni mucho menos en Perú.
Tu no tienes como comprobar que el Ceviche es peruano y te lo puedo asegurar, por otro lado, yo si puedo asegurar que el origen del ceviche es incierto. POR LO TANTO, eso de que el ceviche es peruano es como llamar América a Estados Unidos, está mal, pero ya es costumbre decir eso.

Peru is divided in three areas; one is the coast where people eat a lot of seafood; the highland where people enjoy different variations of stews and the jungle where people eat plátanos (as Gadiel like) and cook with plantain leaves the food. You know what is funny when I went to Peruvian restaurant in New Jersey it was quite busy at the time, no seats left and as I ate my meal I was socializing with other people that were in the restaurant. The whole restaurant was full of Guatemalans and Salvadoreans hahaha... well actually there was one Cuban couple there too but everyone else was from either Guatemala or El Salvador. Nearly every table of the Guatemalans and Salvadoreans that were eating there had at least one order of the Peruvian style Tamales (Humitas) in addition to the other dishes. I found it very interesting!

For my spanish project i had to do it on a specific country. I chose peru!!! I had told about the culture and it's history, different dances, the food(fav part. i love food) And me and my mom had made Alfajores for the class. it was soo good and we got it perfect on the first try. Everyone loved it and i just remember it being one of the best days for me and my friends.
