The vocalist of this band was my substitute P.E teacher (and I literally had no idea because he never told any of us, and I only found out later through friends). He was a very nice and calm guy and a great teacher. Would have had no idea he was a metal vocalist. Mr. Pligge is freaking awesome!

It’s because it’s been recorded as a multitrack, and mixed down properly in a studio, instead of just taking a stereo feed from the desk in the venue (which generally sounds like ass because you set the levels on the PA to balance with the drums and amps in the room, not to sound good on it’s own).
This also gives the opportunity to correct any small errors, especially with there being so little room/audience mic sound used in this recording.
Not saying they did that though, just that it’s possible. Thin Lizzy actually corrected so much on ‘live and dangerous’ that it basically wasn’t live anymore.

I know its been said a thousand times but @hate5six really is putting out some of the best mixed live music out there. Like any of these could be released as a live album and would be amazing
