Literally, his body broke down due to his poor biomechanics, overuse, lack of recovery and flexibility despite his physique and overall health. If only he didn’t get injured, in my opinion, he would be in the GOAT debate. But then again, NBA history would look very different without injuries.

But he was still a legit All star tho and like you said, First Team All NBA. His competition was Yao who was hurt that season often (played only 57 games) and Ben Wallace who isn't a first, second, or third ballot HOF (Im sure he'll make it eventually) . It's actually funny how much 06 team was all Wade. Just look at what happened: Cuz when Wade went down with knee and shoulder Injuries after all star break 07, Heat got swept in the first round with the exact same 06 team (Wade postponed surgery and came back and tried to play thru it, was a mistake as Pat Riley admitted a year later when it looked like his career was over). Then that Heat team won 15 games in 07-08 with Hobbling Wade coming off surgery and needing to get shut down after All star break for second knee procedure (everyone said he was next Penny hardaway, he looked done. Not even a top 10 SG in the league tho he put up good numbers), Shaq until deadline, and Riley as coach (5 wins w/o Wade). So yeah 06 was one of the worst championship rosters of all time. So nah LeBron didn't have "First Team All NBA" for that particular year, but he had 2 First Ballot HOF in their primes lol.
