I have never seen Ed Gordon like this. He's a real brother and I felt him when he talked about being light skinned with green eyes having to prove himself around other black people. I have had to do that my whole life but I love my people first and foremost. I will definitely have to check this book out.

Envy clearly stated during the Styles P & Mrs Styles interview [a few days ago] that he doesn't read very often. So how can we expect for him to prepare for guests, seek/gain knowledge thru reading, or increase his interviewer skills. He's clearly the music guy that has a lot of relationships with people in the hip hop industry, nevertheless he is now starting to expand his mind/brand by teaching real estate to our people.

Black leadership, nobody wants to take that bullet or die for the cause like our four fathers did for us I totally understand. Malcolm X and Martin Luther King understood their purpose in life to take up the fight against injustices towards black people and were not afraid of the consequences.

Finally someone who is willing to talk openly about our internal dysfunctions as a community. We have to first deal with our internal issues. Loni Love comment it’s being said here with another presentation same message. I also agree with Iyanla POV because men are a reflection of the women in their culture and vis versa. Leadership is loud but lacking strategy and an end game for the most part. We idolize things that are detrimental to our community. I get that charla is trying to change the narrative “black men don’t cheat” but how can we heal what we don’t reveal. I would like him to use his platform to concretely addresss the importance of shedding behaviors of boys and acquiring that of real men since he has been transitioning throughout the years. Also get some women who can talk about the black female experience and how we ourselves can perpetuate the dysfunction. Charla you have the platform I have seen your progress and admire it you drop gems here and there. I see you. Stop playing.

Ed is a real brother and to be honest, he should have gotten his recognition long before the OJ interview.
