I think the best way to give reparations is to let us be Exempt from taxes for at least 3 to 4 years. Even when we purchase things we dont pay taxes on the dollar.That way, the people who refuse to work won't get anything, and the hard-working blacks like myself will reap the benefits. Just imagine how many black businesses we could start if we had that sort of reparations. This month i had to pay 8,000 dollars in taxes and 7,300 last year. We only make up 13% of the population so I can't see how it would hurt the country's economy.
I'd vote yes on that. But is reparations only supposed to help blacks economically for past obstacles, or is it also to repair resentments ? Would blacks feel less hatred for America/whites?
